Something neat: My username has been the same on all my internet accounts thing since about sixth grade; my (alphabetically assigned) locker number in 10th and 11th grade was S1011.

I love reading fanfiction, which really causes me to procrastinate writing a lot. Because I can leave stories inactive for long times, I like to update my profile often. Sometimes it's just wording or adding or deleting a quote, but the "profile last edited" date can give you a pretty good idea if I'm still using this site. I've been very active on the site since /07, so I don't think I'll disappear anytime soon.

What I'm Writing (Ongoing Story Status, Planned Projects, and Personal Works That Take Up Writing Time):

Elements (Synergy 'Verse): HIATUS. My current priority. Length-wise, the story itself will probably be just past 100K (or 18-20 chapters) at completion. It will stretch over the course of a couple months to a year, and then the next instalment, which I already have the basic concept of, will pick up again later in the universe. I had a posting schedule of every Saturday, but unfortunately circumstances interfered. I moved away to university, and by the time I was packed and moved, I fell victim to both an influx of homework and a computer crash. I hope to get writing during a holiday break at some point and get a backlog of chapters again to perhaps start up a bi-weekly update schedule. Chapter 8 is actually mostly finished, but I'll have to get back into the swing of writing this story, so it might be a bit of time. I really love this fic and can't wait to get back to it, but unfortunately my priority right now is school.

Of Mary Sues and Mind Slavery: This fic is still on hiatus, but it's being written. We've decided to get a handful of chapters in reserve before we start posting again; we worked on that pretty steadily for a while and are eager to start working on it again but keep getting together when at least one of us (usually me) is exhausted from other things. Not to mention we write together in person and my coauthor and I live in different cities for the time being. Once we start posting you'll be able to count on weekly or biweekly updates for quite a while. Currently, we've got chapters 15-18 in complete first draft form, 19 in very rough, and are partway through writing 21, with 20 plotted out. From there, we have a rough outline all the way to chapter 33 (which coincides with My Immortal's 40th chapter, so nearly the end of the fic). On another note, we've got MissNaughtyOwl's wonderful sister drawing up a cover for us based on a sketch cover idea from years ago (and it looks so beautiful) and we've got ourselves a beta and are working with her to go improve the chapters that are already posted. We'll be doing a bit of a repost of the old chapters right before we start updating again.

Time Warp: Can you believe I started posting this in ninth grade? I'm 23 now, and this story has been on hiatus for so long I barely remember it. The fiasco that stopped this in its tracks was a few unfortunate computer crashes losing me all my rough work and plans, but if I'm honest, I've not put much effort in trying to re-plot for further writing and moved onto other projects. The next chapter has an opening scene written and a bit of an outline for the rest... I don't want to abandon this fic, really, but even a single chapter just isn't happening right now. If this does ever get revived, expect some bumps in the road-- I have some notebooks with some things written in them, but other things were only digital so there might be some dropped plotlines I might go back and edit out. If I do start posting, it'll probably be accompanied by a complete rewrite of the earlier chapters, because the difference in my writing between 14 and 23 is pretty immense. (Compare the first chapter of Time Warp to the first chapter of Elements if you want to see the gap.) For the record, thank you so much to whatever readers have recommended this one on TVtropes. It gave me quite the shock when I was glancing through the Peggy Sue recs to find something to read and found my own name. I'm really flattered.

Cat's Cradle: Can I just say it's on indefinite hiatus? Again, I don't plan to leave this incomplete; I've had the conclusion planned out since I began working on it, but I'm not really feeling these fandoms at the moment.

Original fiction is taking up a lot of my writing time and writing brain at this point. I've worked on quite a few random fanfic story ideas, some which I've become attached to enough to think, "I'll post this one day." Considering the posting fiasco that's become Time Warp (ie, nothing is happening!), I've decided that a few won't be posted until they're fully complete and a few others will only be considered if they get to be significantly long and continue to go strong. And are suitably original and are stories I feel like I have no choice but to write. Not to mention the few dozen oneshots in various stages of post-writing that I edit and post now and then. Let's just say that the majority of my writing (even of fanfiction) does not end up posting here...

School: Yes, the dreaded, horrid nightmare of any fanfiction reader, the author is now a university student. Which means I have virtually no time for writing. I hope to jump back into one of my fanfic projects during the breaks (order of priority is the order they're listed above). At this point, though, I honestly wouldn't count on an update of anything before I graduate in 2019... Sorry about that, everyone, but that's just the way it is.
