THIS IS THE PROFILE OF KID TWIST

Born in London, near Bethnal Green, in 1987, Kid Twist moved with his parents and one younger brother to the Lower East Side of New York in 1991, looking, as always for a better life. The son of a baker, he has lived in a small but comfortable apartment ever since. He writes late at nights, under a candle's dim light, by a window looking out over the street. His deepest wish is to one day write beside a window which looks out over the entire city, not just his small portion of Little Italy. His favourite music is undoubtedly jazz, and he often plays Miles Davis' 'Bitches Brew' in the background as he writes his stories. He enjoys the writing of his counterparts on Fanfiction.net, because it shows the wonderful imagination of so many young people. He knows he is getting to old for it, but has grown up with his Harry Potter books, and couldn't simply give them up with only one more left to read.

Twist is a fan of snappy suits, such as those crafted by Salvatore Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, and of course Michael Kors. He has a job as a bell boy at a small Italian eatery owned by a man named Vincent "Chin" Gigante. When not working or writing, Twist likes to stroll around his neighborhood at night, when all the tourists have departed and marvel at the soft complexion the street lights can give something as hard as the pavement beneath him.

He is a true believer in the idea that life is beautiful, even if the things that have happened to you in your life are not.

A small note to the reviewers: Firstly, thanks very much for taking the time and effort to try and help me out. Secondly, although I do appreciate the very precise input, and although I do marvel at the dexterity with which some of you create your arguments against my story, there are a few things which I must point out. This story was not based on the reality of the British underworld, nor was it meant to be a realistic carry over from book 6 of the Harry Potter story. It is seperate entity, using only the characters and the basic situation provided by J. K. Rowling. Whether or not Lee Jordan would have had time to establish himself is of no consequence. The same is true for whether Death Eaters would be caught carrying guns. It is completely irrelevant that much of the circumstances or situations are clichés. All that really matters, especially in a story like this, is that there is lots of shooting, lots of killing, and all-in-all, enough action to satisfy one or two readers.

If there is anybody who has any sort of problem with the language, I am very sorry for that; I do not mean to offend, nor do I mean to convey any sort of false stereotype upon criminal organizations. I am writing for teenagers, and thus try my best to mimick the teenage dialogue. Being a teenager myself, I can assure you that the vast majority of young people with whom I have come in contact swear at least as much as is in my text, if not more.
