"The Cryomancers were a race of people native to Outworld. Apparently, these long-forgotten Outworlders looked like humans, but could control ice, and sometimes their arms looked frozen."

Cryomancers are a race native to Outworld. During the earlier period of Shao Kahn's reign as emperor, it is believed that the majority of the population was exterminated, as a result it is believed that no pure Cryomancers survive into the present day. Appearance-wise Cryomancers are very similar to humans, they share a similar form and they seem to age in a similar fashion, although their lifespan is unknown, the notable difference being that they have the ability to control the moisture in the air around their bodies and cool it into ice, as such, they have the ability to control ice. As a result, Cryomancers can use their powers to freeze opponents solid and even form weapons of ice...

ABOUT MY STORIES

KOLD BLOODED KOUPLE

This story is about my two favorite Mortal Kombat characters: Sub-Zero and Skarlet. It takes place during Sub-Zero's chapter in the MK9 story mode, with Skarlet spying on him from behind the scenes during very familiar segments/cut-scenes of the gameplay. The two warriors eventually find their way to each other through epic events, and share a mutual attraction that inevitably transforms them into the "Kold Blooded Kouple."

A/N: I will be looking to revamping this story chapter-by-chapter, once I am finished with Kold Blooded Kouple: Konquest.

KOLD BLOODED KHRISTMAS

The follow-up/sequel to Kold Blooded Kouple. It was originally intended to be a crack-fic, but ended up being an integral part of the "Kold Blooded" series which ties the Kold Blooded Kouple story to Kold Blooded Kouple: Konquest. The story mainly follows Skarlet, and her struggle in adapting to life in Earthrealm. Sub-Zero does all he can to help her through the tough times, with his networking, and high-profile lifestyle that are just a few benefits of working as an assassin for hire with the Lin Kuei. Raiden shows up during the festive celebration, and nearly ruins it with another one of his "visions."

KOLD BLOODED KOUPLE: KONQUEST

The true sequel to Kold Blooded Kouple. Events take place post MK9 story mode, and follows Sub-Zero and Skarlet once again. Under mind control, Skarlet betrays the love of her life: Sub-Zero, and nearly kills him. After surviving and going his own/separate way, Kuai Liang returns to the Lin Kuei Temple and ultimately becomes the Grandmaster, while Skarlet returns to the Forces that created her. Along the way of leading the Lin Kuei, Sub-Zero meets a new ally who eventually becomes his apprentice: Frost. They begin an uneasy relationship which culminates in a showdown with Skarlet - Sub-Zero's former love. Also, Sareena joins in on the fun and a 3-way Catfight breaks out as they battle it out for Kuai Liang's affections. The Catfight is merely child's play, as the real big war is Armageddon itself. This is the biggest, largest, and most beloved story in my line-up.

KOLD BLOODED KOUPLE: WORLDS KOLLIDE

In development

My take on Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. The happy ending for Sub-Zero and Skarlet is ripped away when they receive news of an approaching apocalypse. Favorite heroes go up against favorite fighters in the newest addition to the Kold Blooded Kouple series. The simultaneous defeat of Blaze in Edenia and defeat of Darkseid on Earth caused a massive rip in the Multiverse, and fused the two powerful beings together. Dark Blaze's mere existence creates a merger between two worlds which will result in the destruction of both if allowed to continue. How will Lord Raiden, Sub-Zero, Skarlet, and the others fare up against a menacing new threat and the invasion of countless powerful new foes?

Update* With the announcement of Mortal Kombat X, I will wait to get a glimpse of how the story mode unfolds in that game before I further develop and complete this one. I will do my best to integrate it with the MK vs DC universe plot before spinning it with my own take.

The title will then be changed to KOLD BLOODED KOUPLE X: WORLDS KOLLIDEto take after MK X.

KITANA'S HEARTBREAK

A story inspired by movies such as "Unfaithful" and "Obsessed." Kitana becomes suspicious of her husband Sub-Zero's activities as he has been coming home late, slacking-off in his training, and lying to everyone around him. The princess then turns to her ex-lover, Liu Kang, for advice, guidance, and comfort, which leads to a showdown between her husband and former flame.

I tried my best to style this piece after tragic Shakespeare stories, where things do not always end up well for the characters. So if you a reader who is in to happy endings, then this story may not be for you.

A request made by a friend. This story is inspired by personal events, and has been altered to create a romance fic between Jade and Kung Lao. Jade - who has just ended a serious relationship with her ex-lover, Smoke - is happy and carefree being single and has no plans of ever being in a relationship again. That's bad news for Kung Lao, the man who has been in love with the Edenian for quite some time, and so desperately wants to be the "new man" in Jade's life.
