The entire concept of 'relationship' is something foreign to both of them. Kenny hasn't exactly had a strong sense of what relationship-even friendship-was like since he was in fourth grade and his parents could stand to be in the same room as each other without breaking, like, everything. Even so, he knows what it means to be family, at least.
