I read The Host by Stephenie Meyer - which was extraordinary by the way, it didn't even fail to make me cry a few times - and it's by far the best book I've ever read by her.

Yes, I did say it was the best book I've ever read by her... which means... it took the place of the Twilight Series! I know, I never thought that could happen either! But Twilight is second on my list now. Stephenie was right when she said she thought it was one of her best written ones. And I also agree with her when she mentioned that Twilight fans shouldn't flip through the book and see that there is no Edward and throw it over the balcony - by accident of course right. It was something I read that I'd never read before, something Twilight couldn't give.

The Host made me feel unsettled at some parts and of course sad and jealous and mournful and anger and envy and hatred but happiness also. It was more passionate than Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse together, those books never made me cry.

I was definitely surprised with the decisions Wanda made. With everything! So nice and courteous, I'd never met anyone like her. Read anything like it. She makes me feel happy and cleansed of all evil thoughts. Gosh, how can I get my point across without revealing everything?

Anyways, it was a great book.
