Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. My Book Style: I love classic literature with a passion. British lit is my all time favorite. Shakespeare is an absolute genius. My favorite work of his is most definitely King Lear. Jane Austen is simply wonderful. Pride and Prejudice, naturally, is my favorite of her works, but I also loved Emma and enjoyed Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion. The Bronte sisters are also lovely authors. Jane Eyre is a good novel, and Wuthering Heights is simply beautiful. As for required school reading and the like, William Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury is pretty good, despite its incredibly confusing beginning. Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston is also good. The Invisible Man by H. G. Wells is a good short read. One of my all-time favorite required outside reading books, though, is The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. And the movie on Netflix is hilarious. As for more modern YA novels, Harry Potter will always be a favorite of mine. The Hunger Games series is also good. A guilty pleasure of mine is Ally Carter's Gallagher Girls series. Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series is sarcastic and funny. David Eddings writes witty and easy to read sci-fi with great characterization and plots, namely The Belgariad series, The Mallorean series, The Elenium series, The Tamuli series, and The Redemption of Althalus. I recently jumped on the John Green bandwagon. The Fault in Our Stars was a very good book, but Looking For Alaska was simply beautiful. Unpopular opinion? I liked it better than TFiOS.
