Sojin (OC), Hide's roommate, ends up getting swept up in the world of ghouls when he accidentally stumbles upon Touka discussing Kaneki's fate. Narrowly escaping with his life, he must find out where he fits in among the puzzle of ghouls versus humans and who is friend and foe.

Based off the 2003-2007 cartoon after it finishes: Life is starting to settle down for the now 19 year old mutant turtles of New York, the streets are much safer and the future looks bright yet incomplete. However, Leo recieves a text from an unknown number late one night, and with his reply everything changes. Perhaps there is hope for them after all as a new chapter begins...

A/N:  It occurred to me that there must be many off screen mutants in TMNT, those whose stories will never be told.  I wanted to write something about some of them, and what their lives and cultures might be like, before the Turtles and the Turtle madness came on the scene.
