Wow, so I just decided that I have enough time on my hands to actually update this profile. It has been several years, I must say. I also decided to clean house a bit, regarding favorited stories and such. Many of those were from when I was much younger and favorited everything, so I don't feel too bad cutting the list back a bit. So, now a little about myself:

I enjoy dashes of humor, long walks on the beach and good grammar. Oh, and unconventional pairings. I'm really into villainous type persons (or at least badass dudes) hooking up with our favorite heroines. For example:

HP: Hermione/Snape- I'm into the fact that these two are just so darn smart. Plus he's got the whole tortured grump thing going on. I think I may need help.

Trigun: Knives/Meryl or Millie- I reeeaaally heart knives for some reason. He's a genocidal freak, but seriously, there's just something about this guy's rehabilitation that just does it for me. Again, medical help may prove necessary at some point in the near future.

Inuyasha: Sesshoumaru/Kagome- Here's where I first deviated from the shipper norm. I kind of couldn't care less about kagome in the actual anime, but sesshoumaru is just so damn fine. I can really only stand fics that make Kagome strong and at least semi-witty. I like witty.

Cowboy Bebop: Viscious/Faye- I realize I currently only have faye/spike pairing fics on my list right now. This is because I am lazy and don't always favorite my favorites. In fact, there was a period of three years where I didn't favorite at all. I know this because I just went through the list and found that all of those stories discontinued between 2004 and 2006.

Ouran High School Host Club: Kyouya/haruhi- I don't actually read that many ouran fics, but when I do... Again, the dark intellectual.

And the standard pairings I enjoy:

Witch Hunter Robin: Amon/Robin- mmm, damn I have a thing for broody guys. And Robin is just such a cool character. How can you not love these guys?

And my all time favorite oh-my-god-I'm-such-a-fangirl pairing ever is...

Labyrinth: JARETH AND SARAH. Maybe it's because the story has been with me since childhood, maybe it's because MY name is sarah, maybe it's because they are the pairing that was so close to happening but never did because, let's face it, sarah was underage, or maybe it's because of David Bowie's tight, tight pants... Yeah, it's probably the pants.

Hmm, so because I haven't favorited in a forever I feel kind of obligated to go out and find again the stories that I have absolutely loved over the past few years. Lots of Labby fics especially. Really love all of K.L Morgan's stuff, though it makes me cry inside when I think about how everything of hers is on hiatus. I promise to actually add stories like this to my favorites.

You know, I am always tempted to write one of these myself... but then I think of all the work and the time and the effort and the work and the people depending on you and the work and the headaches and the self-imposed deadlines and the work... and then I feel overwhelmed and read fanfiction to calm myself down.
