I am a HUGE book reader personally and I have a few favorites that I would highly recommend for those of you who like Teen Fiction novels. They are numbered in my favorites to least favorites (for the most part, it's too hard to choose!).

1. The Darkest Minds (Oh My Goodness this one is one of the best books in the history of books, but I swear it will break your heart)

   When Ruby wakes up on her tenth birthday, something about her has changed. Something alarming enough to make her parents lock her in the garage and call the police. Something that gets her sent to Thurmond, a brutal government “rehabilitation camp.” She might have survived the mysterious disease that’s killed most of America’s children, but she and the others have emerged with something far worse: frightening abilities they cannot control.

   Now sixteen, Ruby is one of the dangerous ones.

   When the truth comes out, Ruby barely escapes Thurmond with her life. Now she’s on the run, desperate to find the one safe haven left for kids like her—East River. She joins a group of kids who escaped their own camp. Liam, their brave leader, is falling hard for Ruby. But no matter how much she aches for him, Ruby can’t risk getting close. Not after what happened to her parents.

   When they arrive at East River, nothing is as it seems, least of all its mysterious leader. But there are other forces at work, people who will stop at nothing to use Ruby in their fight against the government. Ruby will be faced with a terrible choice, one that may mean giving up her only chance at a life worth living.

2. The Rules for Disappearing (I absolutely LOVE this book! Read it, read it, read it!)
   She's been six different people in six different places: Madeline in Ohio, Isabelle in Missouri, Olivia in Kentucky . . . But now that she's been transplanted to rural Louisiana, she has decided that this fake identity will be her last.

   Witness Protection has taken nearly everything from her. But for now, they've given her a new name, Megan Rose Jones, and a horrible hair color. For the past eight months, Meg has begged her father to answer one question: What on earth did he do-or see-that landed them in this god-awful mess? Meg has just about had it with all of the Suits' rules-and her dad's silence. If he won't help, it's time she got some answers for herself.

   But Meg isn't counting on Ethan Landry, an adorable Louisiana farm boy who's too smart for his own good. He knows Meg is hiding something big. And it just might get both of them killed. As they embark on a perilous journey to free her family once and for all, Meg discovers that there's only one rule that really matters-survival.

3. Monument 14 (This one is really interesting and it keeps you in constant suspense. It really is amazing)
   Your mother hollers that you’re going to miss the bus. She can see it coming down the street. You don’t stop and hug her and tell her you love her. You don’t thank her for being a good, kind, patient mother. Of course not—you launch yourself down the stairs and make a run for the corner. Only, if it’s the last time you’ll ever see your mother, you sort of start to wish you’d stopped and did those things. Maybe even missed the bus. But the bus was barreling down our street, so I ran. Fourteen kids. One superstore. A million things that go wrong.

   In Emmy Laybourne’s action-packed debut novel Monument 14, six high school kids (some popular, some not), two eighth graders (one a tech genius), and six little kids trapped together in a chain superstore build a refuge for themselves inside. While outside, a series of escalating disasters, beginning with a monster hailstorm and ending with a chemical weapons spill, seems to be tearing the world—as they know it—apart.

4. The Familiars (This one is really good and I love it because of its amazing and always changing plot and awesome characters)

   When Aldwyn, a young alley cat on the run, ducks into a mysterious pet shop, he doesn’t expect his life to change. But that’s exactly what happens when Jack, a young wizard, picks Aldwyn to be his magical familiar.

   Finally off the tough streets, Aldwyn thinks he’s got it made. He just has to convince the other familiars—the know-it-all blue jay Skylar and the friendly tree frog Gilbert—that he’s the telekinetic cat he claims to be. But when Jack and two other wizards in training are captured by a terrible evil, it will take all of Aldwyn’s street smarts, a few good friends, and a nose for adventure to save the day!

5. Divergent (this is a must read and is super awesome! There is also a movie, but trust me the book is much better!)
6. Insurgent (Second book in the Divergent Trilogy)
7. Allegiant (Last book of the trilogy and also the super sad one)
8. The Hunger Games (And the rest of the series. I highly recommend reading the book because it is better than the movie, especially since you get all sorts of details.)
9. The Fault in our Stars (Get some tissues to read this one because it's really sad. It made me cry for days!)
10. Warriors (I simply am a warriors fan through and through)
11. The 5th wave
12. Wolves of the Beyond
13. Walk Two Moons
14. Finding Zasha
15. Vitro (this book is very original and interesting)

    On Skin Island, even the laws of creation can be broken.
