Author has written 6 stories for Anne of Green Gables series, Witch of Blackbird Pond, and Gilmore Girls. Playlist for The All-American Reject UPDATE 1-21-09: Hey, everybody. I am so unbelievably sorry about not updating TAAR. Here's the dealio if you care to know. So I'm a junior in college (I'm old I know, please don't push the issue since I get kinda sensitive about my age since I think I should have some idea about what I want to do with my life, but unfortunately, I don't.) and I'm spending this year abroad. I left in August to do the European tour with my roomie. It was amazing. We saw Venice, Milan, Vienna, Bratislava, and London. Then I spent fall semester in Lille, France. Taking classes in both French and English with people from all over the world. The Lillois are considered among the friendliest people in France, and, let me tell you, it's true. Lille is a great college town, I had the time of my life. It's basically a dream come true for me. Now at the end of February I'm leaving for my second semester abroad - in Poland. Now, I'm terrified since I don't speak a word of Polish or anything like that, but completely exhilarated at the same time. So don't expect very speedy updates from me. Also during my break I had papers to write for Lille and doctors appointments. I was supposed to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, but only 3 came out. So, a little background first, I absolutely hate dentists. I don't like having people poke metal instruments in my mouth. I hate the smell and I have really sensitive gums so I tend to bleed whenever I go for a regular dentist visit. So when given the option of being knocked out or just novacaine, I chose to be knocked out. Here comes the worst part. Partway through the procedure, I WOKE UP!! So I'm in tears, kind of writhing and giving out strangled cries, and I can hear the doctor's and nurse's voice, but I can't open my eyes. But I'm pretty sure I feel pain. I can't truly remember now, but I'm fairly certain I was in pain when I started to come to. I mean, I must've been crying/screaming/thrashing for a reason, right? So now I'm home. I'm on painkillers and I'm so hungry I'm starting to get dizzy. But I can only eat liquids and soft foods. Let's get this straight, I like food. Eating soup all day isn't going to satisfy me. So I'm a little bit miserable, which allowed me to get in the right mindset to finish this chapter. So here's the plan. I already have two non-consecutive scenes written out for the next chapter. Short scenes, but scenes nevertheless. I'm home for another month yet, so I'll try to stay on top of this story (there isn't really much for me to do here what with all my friends at school). I'll give you an update every weekend about the progress I make. I have a general idea of what I want to happen in this chapter. So here we go, for chapter 7 of TAAR, I'm 5 percent done. Okay, I'm sorry I took so long. I'm also trying to edit/rewrite some older stories so that's taking up time too. Happy belated Holidays and New Year and Inauguration Day to all! Progress Status: Chapter 7 of TAAR...Um, approximately 8 percent done. I'm sorry! I haven't had time. But I have been doing research and starting to make an outline. I've also continued writing future scenes. For example, just this morning I wrote the last scene of the last chapter with the exception of the possible epilogue. And I love it! I think it's cheesy without being gag-inducing, which, in my humble opinion, is the perfect level of cheese. I'm just like ASP, who knew from the beginning what the last words of Gilmore Girls were supposed to be. However, unlike her, I will actually get to use them. QUOTEOF THE DAY - 1-21-09 Murphy: We're sorta like a 7-Eleven. We're not always doing business, but we're always open. ~The Boondock Saints - Just watched this the other weekend. Loved it! QUOTE FOREVER (First posted 8-25-04) About me: Okay, well, let's see...I am in college (AHH!) from Long Island (in New York).I like writing, but mainly fanfics (I don't think I have quite enough imagination to come up with characters or orignial plots on my own). A lot of my friends write too. I like to read, dance, play music (piano, clarinet, and drums), ride roller coasters, and hang out with my friends. Books: My favorite books are His Dark Materials, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and the Anne of Green Gables series, or anything else by L.M. Montgomery. I also like the Dark Secrets series by Elizabeth Chandler. Pride and Prejudice is amazing, and I love Jane Austen. I would also recomment They Cage the Animals at Night by Jennings Michael Burch. Favorite Three Characters in... L.M. Montgomery's works: Lord of the Rings: TV/Movies: I love Friends and Pirates of the Caribbean. I also like One Tree Hill (I'm kind of addicted, even though the quality is alomst completely gone - long live James Lafferty!), Gilmore Girls (same as One Tree Hill, but with much better storylines and quality), Everwood, and The O.C. (Haven't acutally seen this show in a while). And all the LOTR movies, but especially the last one. I love Bridget Jones, both of them (yay, Colin Firth!). I have also started watching Heroes (Milo Ventimiglia!), House, Grey's Anatomy, and The Office. Can anyone say The Notebook? What an amazing movie. Plus as many Yankees games as I can watch. Music: As of right now, my favorites are Yellowcard and especially Maroon 5 and Green Day (Would you look at all the colors! I'm starting to notice a theme), plus Bowling for Soup. And lots of music from Broadway plays, including "Les Miz" and "The Boy from OZ." Plus the All-American Rejects, Something Corporate, Simple Plan, the Starting Line, Relient K, and Ben Folds. Guys: I love Orlando Bloom, James Lafferty, Hugh Dancy, Johnny Depp, Hugh Jackman, Colin Firth, Tyson Ritter, Ryan Gosling (The Notebook...sigh), Milo Ventimiglia, and about a million others. MY FICS: Completed: Revelations - an Anne of Green Gables fic (LMM)- my favorite part was the whole arm around the waist deception thing - whole reason I wrote this fic ;-) I also rewrote this because I'm much older and very embarrased about my writing style back then. So I tried to make it more modern me. Hope you all like. In Progress: Kindred Spirits - an Anne of Green Gables fic (deleted) Well, that's all I can think of for now. Oh yes, and if you read my stories please review! I love getting them. They honestly make my day. I don't care how old my story is. If you don't like my story please tell me what I can do to make it better. Construcitve criticism is very helpful. I review most stories I finish reading (either as stella maynard or c'est la vie), please do the same for me! Much thanks! |
