Author has written 16 stories for Harry Potter. Fic Update: Parenthood: Ready or Not: Chapter 13 is in the works, but don't hold your breath. I haven't been writing much fanfiction at all lately, and while I'm not officially abandoning this, I might get to finishing it at some point. Remember Me: This will be a Hermione-goes-back-in-time fic, though there are no time turners or portals. I started writing this years ago, but decided to put it on hold until all seven books were out. Now I'm in the process of rewriting what I had written to make it fit canon. Excerpt to come. About Me: I'm 23 years old and, unfortunately, I don't really read or write fanfiction much anymore. Once in a while I get an itch for it, but Original fiction has kind of taken over my head. I'm not leaving the HP fandom, but updates and new fics will be few and far between. I'm very sorry for those who are following PRN, I know I have been very bad in writing and updating it since chapter 7, but like I said, I'm not abandoning the fandom or this fic. It will just continue to be VERY slow going. Things about me and the Harry Potter world: I love unconventional pairings (HG/SS, HG/RL, HG/DM, you get the picture), but I'll read just about any pairing. Anyway, I really don't like cliché fics (ie. Hermione drastically changing her appearance, etc.) and major out of character-ness unless it has been mentioned by the author that the characters are OOC. If I am warned beforehand, I will most likely still read it. And one last thing, formatting and grammar: "Conversations like this are hard to follow.""Please don't do it.""It really irritates readers.""It also makes the author look incompetent." Beta readers are wonderful. It is best if you have one (or more), because they can usually spot things that you wouldn't notice, like the flow and overall understanding of the writing.
