It is just too true! If you can proudly answer 'yes' to more than half of these, copy and paste it into your profile and add your own comments to each item. If these things apply to you, then you are an OzHead: By TheThroppSistersandCompany When your English teacher told you to think of a simile for green, you automatically squealed, "Elphie!" Well, none of my English teachers have asked me that, but if they did you'd better believe that that would, indeed, be my response. You own a witch hat. Yes, I do! It's the actual 'Wicked' witch hat, and it says "Defy Gravity" on the front. You display various witch items around your room. Yep Before you reply to anything, you think, 'What would Elphaba say?' What kind of fan would I be if I didn't?! On Halloween, you bought green paint to dress up as Elphaba. Then, when the paint made you break out in a rash and you had a green tint to your skin for a month, you knew it was okay, because it was all for Elphaba. All true, with the exception of the rash part. But my hands were green for at least a month. I loved it! Everyone who knows you, knows who everyone in Wicked is - Elphaba, Galinda, etc. Of course they do! You've sent various people the Wicked script over email, or you've printed it out. Yep. Every fanfiction you write about Wicked is based on your own life, because you consider yourself Elphaba. Well, this one is kind of difficult to answer. I would like to think that I'm like Elphaba, but I'm not as awesome as she is. But hey, a girl can dream, right? You introduce yourself, I'm the other (insert position), (insert name). I'm beautifully tragic. Well, I haven't exactly done that, but one of my birthday cakes did have that written on it. You read the novel just to see what it had to say, but were disappointed when music didn't play as you flipped the pages. ((gasp))How did you know?! You are not only on Wicked's mailing list, but also Idina Menzel's, Kristen Chenoweth's, etc. Yep You know exactly what they are talking about in Wickeder from Forbidden Broadway. Ha ha, yes. Oh my Oz, I LOVE that song! You brought up your grades because Elphaba's grades are good. My grades were (are) already good. But I do want to try to stop procrastinating so much! Elphaba doesn't procrastinate! You plan to be in Wicked, and if you get there and find that you're just not good enough, then you think that you can move those darn sets. Hell, I'll prepare the coffee in the green room, if I have to! I do want to be in 'Wicked', but I have a feeling that if I were cast, I would end up playing G(a)linda or Nessa. I would love to play Elphaba, but the other two are a better bet. You are, for some strange reason, mad about the Wicked movie. That's right, they're making one! I'm mad about it? Are you insane?! I CAN'T WAIT!! I'll only be mad if Idina and Kristin aren't in it. I will also be mad if it's horrible. You cried when Idina fell. I didn't know about it until WAY after the fact. Like, almost two years later. If you say Idina, Kristen, Joel, Norbert, Michelle, Sho, Megan, Stephanie, Eden, Julia, Kendra, etc., everyone knows who you're talking about and that you don't mean that guy who sits next to you in math. Yes, they do. And if they don't, they regret asking me, because I'll go off on a lenghy explanation of who's who. You can relate almost anything to Wicked, even if it is distant. Anything. At all. It's like the father in 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding'. You find yourself singing "I'm Not That Girl" when you feel that you're just not that girl. Or just when I'm sad. You can sing "Defying Gravity" even if you're off-key and your voice squeaks. I don't squeak, and I am never off-key, thank you. :P But I do act it out as well. The only thing I'm missing is a broom. You have lost your voice singing "Defying Gravity." Yes, I have. Woohoo! When someone says 'defy gravity,' you politely correct them, "It is DefyING Gravity." Yes, I do. I can't help myself. You told that girl that you would make her Pop-u-lar but then she was like "Freak" I've never offered to make anyone popular, and I never will. But I have sung/acted out the song for my friends. It's especially fun when my friends have glasses and/or lipstick. You think that Shrek was Elphaba's long lost brother. ...Do you WANT me to smack you upside the head with a broom?! Ugh. Just...no. You debate every year that the school's play should be Wicked, and when they say they can't do that, you fight for Wizard of Oz. I would've loved to do 'Wicked', but our theatre doesn't/didn't have the right rigs/space for such elaborate sets. If they do 'Wicked', the sets would be minimal. Which isn't a bad thing, but still. It is kind of sad, because my high school stage was bigger/better than my college stage. It breaks my heart. Oh, but as for 'The Wizard of Oz'? Eh, I prefer it as a movie. You now hate Dorothy. I loathe her! You are possessive of Wicked, and you get angry when the mean, evil Galindas say they've seen it. Mine! Don't touch it! You call the mean rich people Galindas and Fiyeros. NO! Of course not. I call them Wizards and Morribles. Galinda isn't mean. Snobby and mean are two very different things. And Fiyero! I could never call my Yero 'mean'. While looking for colleges, the first one on your list was Shiz. No, because I didn't become obsessed with 'Wicked' until after I applied and was accepted to my college. But the summer before I went to New Student Orientation, I WISHED that Shiz was on my list. You beg for your choir teacher to let you perform "Dear Old Shiz" because after all it is a four piece song. I never begged for that, but I know that half of the choir would have supported me if I had. You started pointing and screaming at the TV when the paper in Men in Black says ...defies gravity... Does it say that? I'll have to look for it the next time I watch it. UPDATE: I saw it!! You went to see "The Pink Panther" just because Kristen Chenoweth was in it. No, but I saw 'RV' just because she was in it, and I saw 'RENT' for the first time just because Idina was in it.. Well, that and I just really wanted to see it. You downloded the wallpaper on wickedthemusical.com, and it is currently your wallpaper. I did have it as my wallpaper for the entire summer once. I tend to change my wallpaper a lot. When studying the Salem Witch Trials, you can't stop feeling sorry for Elphaba, and then for Galinda and Nessarose. True, I do think about the trio of girls now, but I felt bad for the witches/women way before 'Wicked' the musical ever came out. You have randomly written a long letter to someone explaining how Elphaba and Nessarose got their names. I haven't written a letter, but I've explained it verbally hundreds of times. You spend hours thinking about what ever happened to the Witch of the South. Seriously! Why doesn't the South have a Witch? It needs one. You find it hard to see Idina, Sho, Stephanie, Eden etc. without the green makeup. I can recognize those four now. It's the new ones like Marcie Dodd (fantastic!!) and Kerry Ellis that I have trouble recognizing. When you get in a fight with some of your peers, you scream, "Life is painless for the brainless!" No, because I'm not brainless, so I wouldn't scream that. Plus, I would look like a complete idiot. The only thing thing on your Christmas list was, Just go to wickedthemusical.com and click on 'merchandise.'Sweet Oz, how did you know?! UPDATE: The only thing that I asked for a few Christmases ago was the messenger bag. Did I get it? Let's just say that it was indeed, the most wonderful time of the year. : ) For the local community theater, you tried out for The Wizard of Oz, for the part of the Wicked Witch of the West, even though they were only casting the part for adults and you're a teenager. They have never put on 'The Wizard of Oz'. I don't think. Every time you see a goat, you wonder if the goat could have talked once like Dr. Dillimond. Everytime. And then I get a little sad. The background on your computer is the Wicked, Defy Gravity scene. I thought we already established this? It was the Defying Gravity scene, but I changed it. Your ringtone is a Wicked song. Yep! I couldn't find "No Good Deed", so it's "Defying Gravity". You spend hours thinking about how Elphaba is jealous of everyone, and the color of jealously is GREEN!! Ooooh. You're laughing at this because you know it's true! Well, for most of them. |
