The Divergent characters are living in the modern day. They are all a few years older and are attending college. Tris is a superstar softball player and Four is the quarterback of the football team and the first baseman on the baseball team. Tris has just pledged the sister sorority to Phi Delta Theta, the fraternity for athletes. Rating is T- M for language and adult themes.

Tris is in love with Four. But Four, her former intimidating instructor, has a girlfriend, Eliza, who doesn't want to share him with anybody. As much as Tris tries to hide her feelings, she doesn't succeed. And Four, likewise, becomes tense whenever she's near. The story unfolds as Eliza's secret gets revealed and Four and Tris struggles to find their way to each other. (COMPLETE!)

Tris is forced to go to Faction Boarding School where she meets new friends, and a new life. Will Tris get to make a move on her secret crush, or will her friends carry her away? Will Tris ever really break away from Abnegation and live her life? She may learn to laugh and have fun, but is she Dauntless? (There's lots like this but, obviously, I want you to read mine! This is basically Tris and Tobias in high school (and other divergent characters) but there are several other twists and turns. Rated T for Tris/Tobias. JK: Rated T for romance, and there might be some violence. It's high school, so I don't know.

After the Vespers, the Cahill Command Center Crew and the remaining hostages take a break to go to Grace's Wisconsin vacation home on the Chain 'O Lakes for Thanksgiving and Christmas, to regroup and recover.
