Thanks for dropping by! I hope you enjoy reading some of my stories. Right now, I'm totally captivated by Bleach and a few other animes so these are my main fandom interests at the moment. Previous fandom loves include Harry Potter, Supernatural, and CSI.

I hate true Mary Sues and worry constantly about writing them myself as I'm a big fan of OFCs. For me, original characters act as a vehicle I can use to explore canon characters (or situations) in greater depth. I like to write exceptional characters because I find them most interesting so I find myself straddling a line between original chars with real flaws and one-dimensional Mary Sue stereotypes. It's a hard line to navigate when you love writing angst as much as I do!

What else? I'm a Brit living in the US with my wonderful husband and a small menagerie of reptiles. I am owned by the sweetest greyhound who ever lived. When I'm not writing fanfiction, I can usually be found walking my dog, dabbling in the kitchen, or practicing yoga. Oh, and of course devouring every book I can get my hands on! Favourite authors include Terry Pratchett, Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison, Jim Butcher, Ilona Andrews, Charlaine Harris, and many more. My favourite non-fiction books tend to be about Buddhism, feminism, and Deaf studies.

As of the time of this writing, I am fulfilling my role as official British stereotype by working in a tea store. I foster greyhounds for a local organisation, and I take ASL classes. Ultimately, I'd like to go back to university to get a degree in Deaf Studies and/or interpreting.

If I could say just one thing about my fanfiction, it would be this: emotionally scarring canon lovers since 2006. Sorry!
