In 'His Last Vow' there was a big amount of off-screen suffering. So here is a collection of scenes that I missed in the episode. There are intense moments of handling physical pain and mental agony, as well as a lot of H/C, doctor!John, hurt!Sherlock and unwelcome medication in Sherlock's sytem.

By the age of thirty-eight, Sherlock Holmes found himself platonically dating a woman he'd met during a blind date arranged by the man he was in love with, who just so happened to be the boyfriend of his fake girlfriend's best friend. It was absolutely mad, as were most of Janine's plans, but if it meant finally winning John's heart, Sherlock was willing to go along for the ride.

Sherlock has skirted social disaster to receive a pardon directly from the Queen (see, the prequel story, Pardon Me). He also received a private assignment from her to solve a sexually charged mystery which threatens the crown. The case will bring back an old friend and put him at further odds with Mycroft-who is, thanks to Her Majesty, Sherlock's new boss.

James is really confused. Why hasn't Mycroft Holmes ruined Q yet? That's what he does to people who are that rude to him. Lestrade is also really confused. Sherlock's case was always first priority. And yet he gets a call and practically flees this one. In general our favourite agent and DI are really confused and Q is having a fun time because of this. Despite the mugging.

Mycroft is being a good big brother by arranging a pardon for Sherlock's killing of Charles Augustus Magnussen. But there's a condition: Sherlock has to meet the Queen for the pardon to take effect. Can he behave himself with royalty? Or will he become too absorbed in stopping a new tide of illegal drugs from swamping London to bother? Post TAB.

Sherlock, John and Mary are trying hard to normalise their relationship. Case fic and wedding plans test the assumptions of all three. A continuation of Magpie: One for Sorrow, but will stand alone.

Sherlock is back in the UK for the first time since his departure. Being so close to London has brought memories back of a certain army doctor with new revelations. However, with two hours to go, his mind is plagued with memories suppressed. Can he keep it together long enough to make it to London, or will his thoughts consume him? Johnlock one-shot.

Speculation. Me hacking around trying to integrate incoming data on *Empty Hearse,* which I have not yet seen, and try to make some guesses about what it implies for the new season's dramatic arcs. Mycroft, Sherlock, "caring," and Charles Augustus Milverton. It's...really, it's speculation played out as a mini-scene. I think better that way.

Bondlock pre-Reichenbach. Q as the third Holmes brother. When Sherlock and John get enlisted by Mycroft for a job at MI6, Sherlock isn't surprised to see his little brother. John, however, is surprised to see an old friend, and Mycroft and M sit back and watch it unfold.
