While only being fifteen years old puts me at a slight vocabulary disadvantage, I am an avid writer and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. You see, hobbies don't have to be just hobbies, per se. Take chefs, for example. They take their passion and use it in odd and spectacular ways on a daily basis, never stopping doing what they love. That's kind of how I am. When I first made this account, I went by "FurtFan99", but as of this moment, that's obviously not the case. You can just call me Maddy or Dipper. My parents named me after Madeline Gail Kahn, who you may know as Elizabeth from Young Frankenstein or Mrs. White from Clue. I've only seen one of those movies, and to this day it's ranked way up there as one of my favorites.

I've been interested in writing from a young age, when I realized a keyboard or a pad and paper could be used to create a whole new world, where anything you wanted could happen. I guess you could say I was a nerd, even back then. As of the moment I'm writing this, I haven't really published a single word (unless you count that poem I wrote when I was 9 that won a contest and got put into a children's book of poetry) but then again I haven't really tried. What publisher is going to accept a fifteen year old who's greatest accomplishment was winning a national spelling bee? Exactly. Well, to anyone actually reading this, I thank you for taking the time to read what I've written for you and I. Wow, I sound like a cheesy romance novelist. Regardless, it would mean the world to me if you could read my stories and give me some feedback.

I'm super excited to be here and I'm ready to give you guys awesome fanfictions and lots of other awesome content. Just stick around and I'll be here to give you hours of entertainment. At least, I'm hoping to give you hours of entertainment. Then again the average time it takes someone to read a fanfiction with a length of 1,000 words is about fifteen minutes, according to a small study I did in my high school. So with that length withstanding, I would have to write a fanfiction with a minimum of 4,000 words to keep you occupied for an hour. Given that I want you to stick around for a few hours at the least, that would be about 12,000 words. And I would have to keep it pretty interesting to keep you coming back. And while brevity is the soul of wit, length is a main concern of mine, another being content.
