The Basics:

Also formally known as "rash'n'sassy". I needed a change, my previous pen name was a bit childish for my preference. My other alias is QTpie over at MediaMiner.

Hmmm...what can I write about myself that might sound mildly interesting? Not much apparently. Well, for starters I'm currently a university student in Canada. I love art in any and every meaning of the word, so I pride myself on honing my artsitic skills and ablities. I'm addicted to anime, especially anything action and fantasy related with my top picks being: Inu Yasha, Tenjou Tenge, Tsukihime, Scrapped Princess, Aishiteru ze Baby, Samurai Champloo. Of course those are just the tip of the iceberg.

Anyways, though I'm new at actually writing fanfics, I've read my fair share of them. I would probably consider myself a fanficaholic. Believe me when I say I've read the great, the good, the mediocre, the bad, and the horrendous fics out there. Aside from the latter, I love drawing, shopping, playing all sports, cooking, traveling, and reading.

My Three Golden Rules of Fanfic Writing:

1) Thou shall not abandon a story; meaning every story I start will absolutely be completed. However, I can't make any guarantees about the schedules of my update. When I first started writing, I figured I could put out a chapter every couple of weeks but I've been there, gotten the post card, saw the sights, and oh was I surprised. The reason for this is probably because writing is purely a hobby for me and I simply write to hone my literary skills. In no way, shape, or form do I have any aspirations of becoming a actual writer meaning that writing, though I truly enjoy it, does not always take first priority when it comes to all the other aspects of my life.

2) Thou shall not conclude chapters with overly hyped cliffhangers; meaning I don't see the point in useless chapter-ending cliffhangers b/c more often than not they leave readers disappointed in the next chapter. A chapter should end where it ends and this doesn't always have to be with a death, love scene, or major plot twist. As far as I'm concerned, a cliffhanger is a stunt Tom Cruise did in MI2.

3) Thou shall not serve what you can not yourself eat; meaning don't go dishing out flames unless you're willing to have open dialogue in a mature manner. Don't get me wrong, I love reviews and constructive criticism, but I have little tolerance for people who post to solely bitch and moan.

Story Status - Amidst getting my computer upgraded, having a good deal of files accidently deleted (including the next 2 chapters), having to buy a new computer monitor becasue my old one suddenly decided to drop dead one day, transferring to a new university/changing my program, and trying to keep my head above the surface with all the assignments and midterms I have, I really have been rewritting and editing the next chapter. THANK YOU for everyone's patience with this story. I promise the next chapter will be out ASAP.
