Hi everyone! I don't update my profile often, but every so often you'll see a change. I'm from the USA, I have little free time on my hands, but I love writing. What can I say? I like torturing myself like that.

I've got the story "A Run At Something Real" mostly written but it's on permanent hiatus. I'm looking for someone else to help me work on the Haldir/Legolas parts in it for the ending, as my original Haldir has moved on to greener pastures. Heehee.. Not that I blame them in the least (I'll always be indebted to my darlin' Haldir). My original Haldir can be found here: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/359212/(pops)YAY! Read her stuff. She's awesome. As it stands, the story is stagnant and needs another with the talent (or some reasonable facsimile there of) she held to help me with the rest.

ARASR will not be updated unless I can find a Haldir RPer and/or a reliable beta reader. Barring this, I might go through it and simply write a summary of what I'd planned for it. Maybe.

Currently into FF7 and Sailor Moon. Looking for RPers for that, too. I RP Michiru for Sailor Moon, and Reno for FF7. Michi I will only pair with Haruka. Reno, on the other hand? Tempt me. Male only for him, though.

I can promise you this: My adoration for both Sailor Moon and for Final Fantasy 7 (and therefore Reno) will never go away. FF7 has been a love of mine almost since its original release. Sailor Moon I'd liked as a teen, forgot about it during my university years, then was pulled back into it last year by a good friend. I'm incredibly glad for it, too - all I'd seen before her was the dubs. Now that I've seen the *subtitled* version? I've fallen hard for the Haruka/Michiru pairing. Not because they're beautiful together physically (though they are), but because they share a relationship that surpasses most I've ever seen in canon - hetero or otherwise. They understand each other, compliment each other, and have taken my breath away on more than one occasion. Admittedly, I gravitate toward Michiru more - we have a ton of similar interests (though I happen to LIKE sea cucumbers. they're cute and squishy), including our favorite food - which I developed before I even knew these two existed. Pleasant surprise there. So... yes. I have a Michiru muse planted firmly in my head. Haruka just comes and goes. But then, she's Haruka. I'm not surprised.

A quick update for 2018: In the last year and a half, my family (immediate and extended) has lost 6 members. In addition to this, a dear friend of mine has died, and my childhood best friend (who I'm still very close to) lost her mother. My basement was flooded in early March. To top it off, two years ago I had a massive falling out with the one person I felt I could have shared everything and anything with, so I've been struggling to get back on my financial, emotional, and mental feet. Ever wish you could rewind time and smack some sense into your past self? Baaaah.

Anyway. My ability to write fic essentially went into a coma, and I've only JUST started RPing again after two years of not touching things. Which is the first step for me! RP gets the creativity going. Just cross your fingers that another catastrophe isn't lurking around the corner! I've been starting little ficlets over the last few months, too - nothing I could put up here, but it's giving me hope. I'm sorry I haven't put up anything recently, though. I miss writing! Keep posted. Hopefully I'll be able to get something out of my head and onto a page soon!
