Hey there! I see you stumbled upon my profile. I can only imagine how you did. Unless it was something along the lines of you finding a story I've written or a review I've left and just wanted to see what I was like. But, that idea is boring, so, I'll just stick to imagining how that happened. Maybe you got dragged here by unicorns! Or piggy banks! Yeah... Either way, it's my duty to keep you moderately entertained, or just questioning my sanity. I could deal with both. So, I'm taking a chance here and assuming you'd like to know a little bit about me. But I'm sure you know the outcome of assuming things. So, if you would not like to know anything about me, which, I can't blame you, feel free to continue scrolling to a more interesting part of my profile! Things I happen to like include, in no particular order: Ice cream, the color yellow, the season of autumn, moths, water chestnuts, music, reading, writing(obviously), being outside, drawing, talking to people (feel free to PM me!! Hint hint!), crows, cats and marine science. Somehow I feel as though this is an odd combination of things to list. Hmm, oh well. Also, I like Junior Mints. Actually, I adore them. Favorite books: Harry Potter series, Immortal Instruments series, Kingdoms of Thorn and Blood series, The Book of Joby, and about a billion others. Favorite movies: Since I like most all of the movies I watch, I can not elaborate on this as I would not want to hurt the other not listed movies. Sorry, love! Favorite music artists: Fun., He is We, Adam Lambert, Mayday Parade, All Time Low, Katy Perry, SafetySuit, Shakira, Marina and the Diamonds, Florence the Machine, Christina Perri, Mika, and a ton more as well. I kind of like a lot of things if you haven't noticed. Video games: Elder Scrolls series, Call of Duty, Mass Effect, Fallout, Tales of Symphonia, Mario, Harvest Moon, Rune Factory Frontier, and Zelda. Meow. Ok. So I'm done talking about myself because it's getting annoying. And I'm really not that interesting. Plus, I feel content in the fact that I may have educated you on some of the finer books, music, and games in life. No, but really, I'm sure there are lots of great things out there that I haven't mentioned. Yeah. So, uh, I noticed a lot of people tell you their chosen fandoms on here. So, I might as well. Basically, anything in my favorite books and games sections aforementioned, I could eventually get around to writing about. I'm mostly going to stick to one shots now, though I could persuade myself to start a long term story. Anyway, as of now, I will most likely be sticking to the Elder Scrolls fandom, maybe Harry Potter. I'm going to be honest here for a second though, not that I haven't been, but I'm not going to hide the fact that I suck at updating. There, it's been said. I tend to start something and then lose the feel for it and not finish it. Yeah, it's an awful thing, I know! But it's the main reason I'm sticking to one shots, so I won't disappoint anyone if I don't update. You know? It's all for you, really, you should feel quite lucky. I could start a wonderful, magnificent story- that will probably only be mediocre, but I digress- and then not update for months and leave you hanging. So, if I ever do have the urge to write something long term, I'll try to write most of it before I put it up. Unless I run out of patience and decide to put it up anyways, against my better judgment, to find out what you think. Uh, quotes, about that... I don't know where to start. So, I just won't put any. Instead, I'll ruin your day by posing a question! Yay! What are, in your opinion, the most powerful words used? In case that wasn't quite clear, which it isn't to me, and I asked it so I can only imagine what you think, I mean, what are some life changing, or inspiration words? Words that changed the world. As an author, albeit only a fanfiction one, as of now, I find words to be a very powerful thing. You could help a lot of people with the right combination of words. So, yeah, send me a PM with your answer! Oh, wait! Before you leave to do the plethora of better things you have to do with your time, I remembered a quote! What an accomplishment! "Anyone can write a book. It might suck or be incomprehensible, but so what: it’s still a book." This gem right here, was written in a blog by Scott Berkun. This quote represents the truth of the writing world. Anyone can write. Food for thought. Yes, I just did you a great favor. Even though you probably already write. So, yeah. I'm just going to go now. Bye! Have a lovely life! ;) Update: June 29th, 2012. For some reason, I just got the inane urge to update my profile without actually having anything to say. Sorry, darlings. I might just ramble for a few minutes, so I must ask you to forgive me. To start, I still haven't written anything. Well, something worth being put up here. I assure you I shall, eventually. Anyway, what I have been doing instead of writing can fall under the category of "real life". Something I always dread returning to. Not to say that my life isn't enjoyable, I just have an appalling lack of commitment. So, responsibility and I are arch enemies, to say the least. On the other hand, not all the things I waste my time with are "real life" activities. I've found a delightful comic that I read on a daily basis. It's called Cyanide and Happiness. Though, to recommend a warning, if you are not into, shall we say, crude humor, I'd avoid it like the plague. I also found myself caught up in the wonderful "A Song of Ice and Fire Series" by George R. R. Martin. Read it, read them all. Then, once you have, read them again. In case you haven't caught on to the fact that I use the term "real life" as more of a term to describe responsibilities, social or otherwise, be rest assured, my dears, that I do not use it as a way to mock fanfiction as a way to say someone who uses it has no life. Just thought I'd clear that up before someone reads this and feels offended. I find that if you're happy with your life and what you are doing in it, then you should not care what other people think about it. So, if someone implies that something you enjoy doing is weird, or something of the sort, there is this great new thing just made, tell them to try it, it's called - all viewers of this profile under the age of 13 should become temporarily blind now. Look away!- shutting the fuck up. It's great and works wonders in making people not think you're a complete ignorant knave, be sure to tell them that as well. One last thing, what would happen if you put a refrigerator on its back, the doors facing the ceiling, and filled it with water? Would all the water leak out? Probably. But what if it didn't? Update: August 16, 2012. Right now, I don't have any stories up yet. Still. Unless you're reading this in the future, which I might then. Well, you'll be reading this in the future anyway, now that I think about it. Yeah, I'm not going to get into a rant on time and it's paradoxes. Anyway, what I do have is a forum. Oh, yes, you read that correctly. Now this forum is a place to talk about characters of the Harry Potter series: if you like them, if you hate them, and of course why. Feel free to check it out and post something; I'd love to hear what you all have to say. The link is right here. For some reason it doesn't show up in the list of forums. Eh, what are you going to do? Well, that's all I really have to say tonight. I'm not in a ranting about pointless things mood. OH. WAIT. That reminds me, the comic Questionable Content, go read it because it's great. I feel the need to share great things with great people like you! Just a gift from me to you to make your life a little more awesome. Or to ensure you are a slave to you computer. You know. Question: Why do I insist on letting you know that I don't have anything written yet, when the only reason you would care is if you've read something I've written and want to see more, which, renders me letting you know that I haven't written anything yet, useless because at that point I would have written something? |
