Following a truce with the Originals and Klaus's departure, word comes that someone in New Orleans has a white oak stake and no one can get hold of Klaus. As the only one without history in the city, Caroline goes alone. She expects a small-scale rebellion. She finds a full-out war between vampires and witches. Klaus may be the king of New Orleans. But every King needs a Queen.

I have started losing interest in the shows because Klaus and Caroline haven't had any time together, so I was brainstorming how to get them together. What would happen if Tyler escaped and wanted revenge on Klaus? What if he tried to use Caroline to get it? This is an idea of mine.

What if Stefan had been too late to save Caroline in 4.16, how would Klaus react? What if it wasn't just an ending but only the beginning? *M rating from Ch22*

Henrik wakes up in present day New Orleans with no recollection of how he got there, his mother turns up not too impressed with his lack of judgement but finds a way to make best of the situation. Klaus is wondering why Caroline is so strong and why Henrik keeps calling him Dad. The truth comes out and the group must help survive the impending war and craziness that comes with it.

Some things are best kept under wraps, locked away in the depths of the mind, never allowed to surface.
