Tadashi didn't believe in ghosts, but it was hard not to when he was all the proof he needed. After he dies in the fire at SFIT, he finds himself unable to be heard or seen by his grieving loved ones. Only later on did he find out that he wasn't as helpless to comfort his family as he thought. He was starting to learn that he could interact with the living in a very... unusual way.
