Allow me to say that, as a long time and perhaps impatient user of this website, the content block on new accounts is the bane of my existence.

Anyway, I'm Ophelia and I come from England, a country that is not, as some might have you believe, filled with handsome, chiseled detectives; we are not, to the best of my knowledge, coveting a time lord either. I will predominantly be publishing and reading fanfiction of the Eastenders persuasion, though thanks to my frantic rewatching of Hollyoaks Later: 2012, I shall probably be trawling the archives for Bralker content. Such is nostalgia. In terms of publishing my own work, I should state now that while I am usually up to date with programmes and do enjoy the odd spoiler, I find it difficult to keep track of details here and there due to a multitude of things occurring in my life, the main examples being ongoing visits to the CMHT, the reasons why I am constantly sitting in that stuffy building in the first place, and the fallout that comes with being chronically, unmanageably mental. Basically, there will be probably be discrepancies between my hackneyed writing and the programme itself. Nevertheless, I will at least make sure I attempt to iron out any errors that I notice. I try not to get too into it because I then get paranoid about what previous details from an episode I may or may not be missing out and find writing becomes a chore. If you do discover any gaping metaphorical fissures in my writing that truly irritate you, you may act the pedant at the end of your review, and I shall try to amend them as and when possible.

With regard to myself, I am currently awaiting September, in which I am to begin a degree in English. In the meantime I spend much of my time voluntarily subjecting myself to the queues and olfactory horrors of public transport, consuming ungodly amounts of caffeine and nicotine, and more importantly producing what I would personally describe as half-arsed fiction, once I've got over the initial "shitting crikey, I finally wrote something!" period and have actually sat down to pick it to pieces. Interests outside of "writing" and creating navel-gazing descriptions such as these include music and books, of which I am a voracious listener and reader. Some of my more favoured artists or musicians include: Bloc Party, Crystal Castles, Manic Street Preachers, Whitehouse, Nirvana, Breathing Problem, The Libertines / Babyshambles / anything Pete Doherty is either wholly or partly responsible for, One Direction (yes, I know), Hole, Consumer Electronics and quite a few others. Concerning fiction, I am just going list some authors because I'll be here all day otherwise: Dennis Cooper, Marquis de Sade, Bret Easton Ellis, Georges Bataille and Maureen Medved are my current top five.

Back in the day I was never without an "OTP" (Tamaki x Kyouya if you're interested), but nowadays I really don't have the time for one. Three pairings I am particularly fond of ruminating over / seeing how many times I can destroy and then mangle back together include Johnny/Ben (it grew on me; I used to despise Ben Mitchell), Brendan/Walker and Zayn/Harry.

The Kiss by BipolarMolar reviews
After re-watching the amazing Bralker canon kiss, I basically wrote about it, IN Brendan's POV. R and R?
