I'm usually just browsing to read, but there will be occasions when I feel the need to drop a review. The reviews are usually "negative"; constructive criticism. I find it more helpful than compliments; sure, compliments give you motivation and boost your self esteem, but then you would be stuck at that level, and would not be able to improve. Constructive criticism points out your flaws, and tells you how to fix them--a serious artist or writer should be grateful for C.C.

If you ask me what right I have to do this...well, you know that little box on the bottom of a chapter, that says "Review Story"? That gives me the right to review your stuff.

I know that many people will tell me that they are writing for themselves, not to please other people. That's nice, but if you're writing for yourself, why are you putting it up on the net?
