![]() Author has written 1 story for Naruto. 24 year old Asian Male in the U. S. of A. That is all you need to know about my personal life. Feel free to message me. I mostly read, but if possible, I want to be a beta reader. Unfortunately, I have almost no motivation to make my own story since most of the good ideas have been written, and I'm no copycat. I think I'll just write oneshots, but even those I don't want to do half-assed... I mostly spend my time searching for good stories, and I mean good stories. I mean stories that have romance, action, adventure, logic, and relatively okay English (I think the most common errors I can ignore, like "your" without the r [this is actually the most common]). So I'm not really a fan of those "Naruto instantly discovers he likes Sakura/ Hinata/ Tenten/ Ino/ Temari/ Anko (I'm not really sure why these exist...)/ Kurenai (These too)/ Tsunade (Okay, WTF for this pairing. That's like putting Sakura with Jiraiya.) Action as in fight scenes that don't have to be too descriptive, but also not written while the author was half-asleep at 3 AM in the morning. I also don't like too much gore; there was a story, I think It was called Naruto: Rogue Fox by Axenome, where a bandit king would cut off people's limbs, burn the flesh around the wound, and then shove sticks and branches in them, or others where Orochimaru dissects Naruto and the author, who probably needs professional help, decides in great detail what is done and how painful it is. Adventure, as in the author actually follows the manga. If your story started before it came out with the recent chapters, that's cool. But I've seen some stories so inaccurate, it's painful to finish. Logic as in, this story better not have Naruto gaining, the Sharingan, the Byakugan, and the Rinnengan all together. Frankly, I believe any story with Naruto gaining more than one bloodline is just pathetic. For instance, the story called All for one by Vesvius I only got halfway through, because at a certain point, I just couldn't read on. English, as in I don't want to have a story with slaughtered English. If you know English is not your best language, find a beta reader, or find me! I'm just glad that the stories that sound like the author was drunk on vodka when he wrote it are usually one-shots, and I tend to stay within the stories that have more than 40,000 words. I also dislike POV (Point of View) stories, and I don't really have a strong reason, I just prefer to see the story happening from a third-person's point of view. No Yaoi. Not for me, anyway. I have absolutely no problem with gay people, and actually have a couple of friends who are gay, but I do not want to read about what they do. So I absolutely despise Naruto/ Sasuke pairing stories, and any other weird pairings. The only story with a yaoi pairing I have read through and approved is The Road Less Travelled By by Ashen Skies. It actually wasn't too descriptive, and still made me want to see them get together. Anything else, just no. I like lemons. I'm a healthy guy. These two go together. If you're a guy and don't like lemons, then you're not healthy, at least not by my standards. If you're a girl, and you like lemons, neat-o. If you don't, well, I guess you just haven't embraced the idea of living. I think George Lopez put it best; "Ladies, life is too short for you to not have an orgasm every day." I love Time Travel Fics the most, because I wish I knew what was coming in life, and could prevent the worse things from happening. Time Travel Fics would therefore be my fantasy story. Thoughts on Pairings: Naruto/ Hinata: This is probably the most popular right now, and I guess I don't mind it. I used to love it until people started that "Naruto gets with Hinata within a couple days after he didn't notice her for 16 years" shit. Naruto / Sakura: Hmmm. Hard pairing. The only way this will work is if the story takes a long time, since crushes do take time to disappear. Sasuke either simply is not interested in females at this age, which would make sense, or castrated himself. So, if Naruto/ Sakura were to work, you would need at least 20.000 words to remove her interest in Sasuke without making her seem extremely superficial, and I think her interest is just a naive girl with a crush. Naruto/ Tenten: This is one of my favorite pairings. Tenten is often overlooked, and I think she's the sanest character out of Naruto. Neji/ Tenten is also a good, and sometimes preferred pairing. I wrote a story to strengthen the emphasis of a possible Neji and Tenten relationship during the Chunin Exams. Naruto/ Temari: Read the story, Political Alliances by Agent-G. Quite possibly the best Naruto/ Temari realtionship described, it really snagged me in its beginning. While a good relationship story, the one story that rates the best overall in every category, particularly humor, is Never Cut Twice by Shadowmaster62. Read it. Naruto/ Female Haku: I actually prefer this pairing, because she's more flexible personality-wise to write about. Not to mention Kishimoto might as well have just made him female to begin with, since he's so feminine in the manga. Naruto/ Ino: Hard to really say anything about this one. It's fine to read about. Naruto/ Anko: This is what is referred to as Shota, and I really find it hard to read unless Naruto is at least 15, so that its less creepy. Naruto/ Kurenai: I don't prefer this. She marries Asuma and has a kid with him. No. Naruto/ Tsunade: No. Shota, Pedophilia, Mature, and a impossible mammaries fetish. So just no. Naruto/ Any other woman (Shizune/ Ayame/ Tsunami): Still Shota. Naruto/ Any other Girl: Let me read it and then I'll decide. The way and skill one writes can make any story read well. Case in Point, The Road Less Traveled. Naruto/OC: If you develop the character well-enough, these characters may actually end up being better than the other pairings. I'm flexible on this. No western names though. I hate, absoulutely hate, the stories where the author puts himself, someone he knows, or just a westerner into the world of Naruto. That's like the guy in Japan who married an anime simulation girl. Get a life. Or a girlfriend. Or a brain. Preferably all three. 5-Star stories: It's for a Good Cause, I Swear! by Sarah1281. Complete. BEST. STORY. EVER. PERIOD. I will never get tired of reading this story. Never Cut Twice by Shadowmaster62. Complete. Read this, it's good; I really like the Kyuubi manifestation parts. Chunin Exam Day by Perfect Lionheart. In Progress. In the beginning, it is surreal. In the middle, it's hilarious. Towards the end, it's tiring. It still hasn't ended after 77 chapters, and I only give it 5-stars because the author has pretty much written a story as long as Eragon, which takes effort and patience. For The Love of My Friends by Foxie-sama. In-Progress. It's actually my favorite time-tracel fic under Sarah12872's. However, the author has not updated for nine months. Wonder what happened to him or her... The Price of the Future by Shadewolf7. In-Progress. One of the best time travel fix that accurately describe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as portraying a level of understanding between Naruto and Sasuke that I like. It's not yaoi as well and I really like friendship fics. Cloud Age Symphony by withRainyEyes. Complete. Sequel Up. A good time travel fic that goes farther back than the Kyuubi attack. Read this. Naruto Arashiodori by Lucifer-Allheart. In-Progress. Possibly Abandoned. The first eleven chapters gave me the goosebumps. That's how good it was. Tobi's Fairy Tales by enapets21. In-Progess. Hilarious. Just... Just... Hilarious. Human Contact by yooso. In-Progress. Good NaruSaku story and a good basic idea. Puppet Master Naruto by WingardiumRasengan. In Progress. I really like this story, but the author stopped updating. Shit. Geniuses of Hard Work by froznfox72. Good writing, good progression, good plot, makes sense, and ends well. Read this. Uprooted by Orrunan. Extremely humorous, and I enjoy humor. Read this. The World's Greatest Chunin Exam Team by Dane Namor. Short and funny. Read this. Persona by The Other One 7721. Good time travel fic, good writing, good ending. Read this. Great ideas I believe should be remembered and that I might ask permission to incorporate into a story if I ever decide to write one: Before you embark upon a journey of revenge, you should first dig two graves. - Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare The only thing that can make fire stronger, is wind. "Don't call me Baa-chan!" "You need to just look at his eyes to know there is no demon there." He tapped his own eyes and the veins around them became engorged. "We may not be demons, but I have been called one for having these eyes on more than one occasion." -Hiashi White Wheel- past the Mangekyou Naruto was just putting the finishing touches on when he heard a familar voice shout out. "What the hell do you think your doing?" Naruto looked down grinning, and saw the awe expressions from everyone below and knew why. The first time he had done this, he had defaced the heads with water based paint that came off easy. This time, he gave the village a gift by painting the Hokages with life like colors. They each looked like they did when they had become Hokages, complete with eyes colored and all. He had them painted to be smiling warmly upon the village with kind gazes. Naruto knew they were shocked because they would figure the demon would rather deface than decorate the monument. He decided to answer his instructor. "Giving the village a gift, Otuo-san! They should be able to see life like faces smiling upon them, not rock heads!" He shouted to him. Iruka was taken aback by both Naruto's thinking and the fact that the boy had called him, 'Otuo-san'. Iruka smiled as the Third chuckled. "I have to agree with Naruto on this one, Iruka. I think it looks better this way, don't you?" The Third asked him, smiling. "Hai. I do. And by the stunned silence, I'd say that the villagers like it as well." The Third nodded as he looked at the smiling faces behind him along with the shocked ones. "Naruto! Come on down here so we can get to school! You have a test today!" Iruka called calmly. "'Kay, Otuo-san! Give me a second!" Naruto called, lowering himself back to the ground. He walked over to Iruka and straightened his googles, smiling. He looked over at the Hokage and grinned. "Hey! Ojii-san! I made you look young again!" Naruto said, pointing at the monument. "I see that, Naruto. And, good idea too. I'm sure the village appreciates it." The Third told him as a man covered in bandages stormed over to Naruto. "You! I want that paint off of there this instant!" Danzo said angrily. "Danzo. Calm yourself. Everyone else likes it. Why do you hate it?" The third asked in a cold tone. Danzo blinked as he looked at the third. "Because they were ment to be the way they were before. It was the will of the previous Hokages to be preserved in rock. By...coloring them, he has shown that he disrespects their immortal image." Danzo said. "Stone isn't immortal. Like all this, time will wash it away. This montain? It'll be gone one day. This body." Naruto said, pointing at himself, "It'll be dust one day. Time, Danzo, is an excellent teacher, but it kills it's students. The only thing immortal is the soul and it's will of fire. You want them to be immortal? Then honor their memory. The past Hokages weren't stoned faced and unsmiling. That is disrespect if you think that is how they looked at the village. That," He said, pointing to the freshly colored montain, "Is how they truly looked upon the village. With love of it's people and what the Village stands for. That is the way they would want it if they were here today." He finished, leaving everyone is shock. Iruka smiled proudly at Naruto as the Third nodded his head, smiling. Naruto had hit the nail on the head with that speech. Danzo stood momentairly stunned brefore he glared at Naruto. "And how would you know what they would want?" "Simple. It's the way I would want to be preserved. After all, I'll become Hokage someday so I can protect this village." "Humph. We'll see." Danzo said, storming away. |
