Hello all. My pen name is Sinai WinterWolf, and I love to write. The name I've used for a very long time, though it is a name of a character in a story I did not write. Ursula Vernon wrote a story called "The Black Dog" (which is a very lovely story and I highly suggest everyone who loves good stories to read it on Elfwood, if it can still be found), and one of the characters is named that very name. I took the name because A) I love the name, B) I love the character, and C) I love the story the character is in. In effect, it's an early attempt to spread Ursula's story, but over time I've made it mine in ways of a character via IM RPing with a few select friends. The name will always be hers, but I do not know how she pronounces "Sinai". I pronounce it "Sin-eye", instead of "Psy-nigh", and always have pronounced it the former way. It was a few years after I had read the story for the first time, when I read in the Bible the words "Mt. Sinai", that I realized that the way I was pronouncing "Sinai" was different.

In reality, I'm an English Major, with a Creative Writing Minor still in college. I've always loved to write--both stories and poetry--though recently I've been in a very large slump (read: for the past 2-4 years). You ever get an urge, a really strong one, to write, but when you sit down to it, nothing comes? The want to do it is there, but it's like the creativity's dried up. Yeah, that's been me for the few years or so. Not fun. 'Course there's also those stories that you write as much as you can on, then realize afterwards you're embarrassed to have written it--for whatever reason. Not always because it's crap, but maybe because of the content. But you knew you had to write it, because it would've swam around in your head until all you did was think about it and nothing else...

Well, I'm 25. Dark brown hair. Blue-grey eyes. Wear glasses. I think that about covers it. Hope you enjoy my writings. I guess drop me a line if you think something should be changed in them, though I'm sure that's opening the door to all the hardcore fans of stuff that I'm sure will find my works and freak out about this or that. So let me rephrase my previous statement: I guess drop me a line if you find something that should be changed that involves either grammar, sentence structure, or plotline. I care a great deal about my characters--whether borrowing them for a story or creating them from scratch--and if I borrow a character, I always try to get as close to the personality as I can. Obviously I'm not the original creator of the character unless I actually AM the original creator, but I do my best.
