Update: 5/16/13

Heyah guys! Been a long time I know. I can't write during winter (lame I know but I write outside and it's been a friggin long winter). So I've been kind of messing around with some stories and plotting around (making plots). Hence the update. I've decided I'm going to change some things in "Love Bites (So Do I)". I had a LOT of time to re-read it and the more I did the more something bugged me like a tickle in the back of my brain (cue "I'm a tumor" song from family guy). I realized there was a plot I disliked greatly and I'm changing that.

"A Shade of Gray" is still on just got put on the back burner but I've been continuing that along with a few others and I'll be giving a taste of some of these new stories down below.

I have a CullenxAmell story and a KiddxOC story.

It will be awhile till anyone sees these because now that it is finally warm (praise the Maker) I've been writting but I'll be writting till the story is ended so that I can post stories weekly. So it may be awhile till there is an update or a new story but know it will be so worth it. Well, I hope you guys think so :).

P.S.- Thank you for the you guys that stayed on and waited for me to come back. I really seriously appreciate you guys.

Okay, I am your Author this day (morning, afternoon, evening). I hope you guys enjoy what I write :). I"m trying to get better and I'm willing to accept anything to get better. A.K.A. whether it is something I like or not.

I enjoy a good story line and smut like the next person. Although, I prefer to sit and listen to music and or read and lose the world, so bare with me if I take a minute to update.

FAVORITE ANIMES: One Piece, Naruto, Soul Eater, Bacino!, and alot of other's I can't think of at the moment.

FAVORITE MUSIC: Halestorm, Rise Agaisnt, All That Remains, Metallica, Rob Zombie, and the list goes on.

FAVORITE MOVIES: The Count of Monte Cristo, Jurassic Park 1-2-3, Moon Struck, Any Jane Austin Movies (and books), and a long list of horror movies.

I like to try and concentrate on one thing at a time otherwise I overload. (Which is why I'm sorry for the long wait on "A Shade of Gray") Please enjoy my texts!

December Whispers (CullenxAmell)

"The reason why I've told you this Ser Cullen, is that I wish of you a boon, if you would grant it to me."

Cullen stopped half way up the stairs toward the Harrowing Chamber. The Templar's mind drew blank as he abosorbed all that he had just been told.
Cullen's eyes locked on beyond Mage Amell, toward the Chamber doors. Maker he hated the place. It was a place where one would live or die and it would be Cullen would be would be wielding the Blade of Mercy.

Funny thing was, Cullen could only remember one time he was nervous for a Harrowing. It had been his first and Mage Surana had been the mage whom would enter the fade.

Now it was Mage Amell's turn. The Mageress would either die and join the Maker's side or begin her new life as a Mage.

"Cullen?"

Celinah frown as she reached for the Templar, only to stop when those copper eyes met her own.

With a cautious look upon his face the Templar nodded.

"If I am to die, I want you to find my family and let them know of my fate and that I love them."

The words were as soft as a petal but the words bewildered Cullen further.

"But you just said your own father turned you in, why?"

A sad smile painted the Magress's lips.

Cullen blushed and looked down, cursing his inability to look at this Mage and talk. The Templar found it easier to talk to the Mageress if he looked somewhere else. It was a rare thing indeed when he spoke clearly as their eyes met. Cullen feared it was his guilt at his growing affection toward Mage Amell that caused his affliction. He had tried to cut the bud off whatever friendship that had been forged between them, for a Mage and a Templar to be friends...

Celinah's smile inched further upward at Ser Cullen's downward gaze. The Templar had been such a suprise to her, sweet and shy. He was so unlike all any other Templar she had ever encountered including Ser Hadely.

"I forgave my father a long time ago."

The Mageress turn to look back toward the large double doors to the Harrowing Chamber. She hoped that with her gaze averted he would speak once more. The taught line that was draw between Templars and Mages was the reason behind Ser Cullen's uneasiness toward her, she was certain.

"I just want them to know. We may not write, but they are still my family..."

Looking up at Mage Amell's small elven-like figure, Cullen was put back by the strength he saw in the line of her jaw. Why hadn't he ever noticed it before?

"Are you afraid? Of your Harrowing I mean... I."

Frustrated with his outburst Cullen looked away again while scratching his forehead. Maybe she wouldn't notice how silly he was, and he was suppose to be a Knight. Some Knight he was.

"Of course I'm afraid! I'm terrified."

Cullen's head went up so fast he could have sworn he heard a crack.

He met the Mageress's grey eyes that looked as troubled as the clouds before a terrible storm. Those eyes said it all; pure unadulteralted fear. Cullen's heart siezed in a terrible iron clasp that stole his breathe. The Knight and man in him that wanted nothing more than to protect the weak (his very reason for joining the order) started screaming but both were strangled in the cold winter like claws that gnawed at his heart.

Cullen wanted to say something, but his jaw seemed just as iced over as the rest of him.

"But..." Mage Amell took a deep breath. "That doesn't mean I'm not going to face this. I'm not going to run away."

The Mageress had refocused her gaze toward the door. Steady where Cullen felt anything but.

It was in that moment that Cullen knew he was in a world of trouble, that he was hopelessly in love with Celinah Amell.

"Well," Celinah shot Cullen a smile full of brovado, "we don't want to keep them waiting now do we?"

As Celinah began to walk up the stairs once more Cullen took the time to close his eyes and prayed.

He knew what he felt toward a Mage, of all things, was a sin. But Maker, Dear Maker, I will do your bidding for I am sworn to you. But I beg of you, let this mage pass her Harrowing. I will face whatever hurtles or strife you set for me as long as she lives.
