Hey there! I see you've stumbled across my profile. Most of my fanfictions on here are old and suck pretty bad...so sorry about that!

I don't really write many fanfics anymore...I've never been very good at writing canon characters, and when it comes to OCs, I'd rather roleplay them with other people's OCs than write a fanfiction about them. I still pop on this account a lot, to read other people's fanfictions and stuff, so if you want to talk to me, shoot me a message. I'd love to chat! Just don't expect me to update any of these horrible old fanfics, which I only keep on here for nostalgia's sake and to laugh at with my friends who didn't know me when I originally wrote them.

SYOT INFORMATION!

Okay, so, I really, really dislike the Hunger Games trilogy, however, I enjoy reading SYOT (Submit Your Own Tribute) stories, and sending my own tributes in. So far, I have created five tributes:

Tesla Mason, Age 17, District 5 Male Tribute Piston Copperton, Age 14, District 6 Female Tribute Bobbin Taper, Age 12, District 8 Female Tribute Persephone Barley, Age 16, District 9 Female Tribute Ares Barley, Age 14, District 9 Male Tribute

A word about recycled tributes:

Yes, I am aware that Bobbin has been in several SYOTs - to be precise, four. And Tesla was in two. Why? Several years ago, when I first started making these tributes, I would submit them to a story, wait around, only for the story to be abandoned before my characters were even introduced, let alone for the Games to actually start. I got into the habit of submitting them to multiple SYOTs at one time, in the hopes of at least one being seen through to the end. But at that time, none of them ever were. The only one that I even got to see my characters in action in was abandoned - the last chapter was private training sessions, and the author later deleted the story, so I couldn't even go back and read the old chapters.

So, when I came back onto the SYOT scene, I was prepared for a similar outcome, and once again overcompensated for the high abandonment rate by submitting to multiple SYOTs. However, my luck was different this time around, and several of the stories weren't abandoned, which means suddenly some of my characters were in multiple SYOTs. Piston has only been in one so far, and Persephone and Ares are lined up for the sequel of an ongoing SYOT but have otherwise never been in a SYOT. Furthermore, Bobbin was always meant to be a sort of throwaway bloodbath tribute, so that one less person will have to see a character they worked so hard on die in the bloodbath. I love her, but that's what she was made for. I never recycled characters with the intention of boosting my chances for a Victor - I recycled them with the intention of boosting my chances to actually see my character in a story. Also, my past experiences with these sort of things have been in roleplay groups, where recycling characters was not taboo. In fact, people were always glad to see your character again! So I didn't even really realize that recycled tributes were generally frowned upon.

I still love these characters, but I will make a point to not submit them to multiple SYOTs anymore. I'm not feeling any motivation to whip up any new characters right now and my creativity has run dry momentarily, but if I apply to other SYOTs in the future, rest assured that I will be doing it with new character. I might do something else with them someday, but for now, I'll let them rest. Please don't be angry at me or Tesla/Bobbin for them being recycled! It's honestly just a big misunderstanding.

Anything else about me? Eh...I'm 24 years old, I live in Texas, I hold a BA in English with a minor in secondary education, I wear Lolita fashion, I cosplay, my religion is Hellenic Polytheism, I like to think that my writing and character creating skills have gotten a LOT better since these fanfictions were written (most of them were written when I was in middle school and my first two years of high school, so...), and I guess that's about it.
