After watching "The Hobbit, Desolation of Smaug", I fell in love with the whole Kili Tauriel pairing. The movie ends after Tauriel heals Kili, and the dragon Smaug decides to pay a visit to Lake Town. So I made an alternate story, taking over from that end point. I take absolutely no credit for the creation of characters, as they were made by JRR Tolkien and Peter Jackson. Enjoy!

(Set after the Battle of Five Armies) Dwarves flock back to Erebor in full force, excited about their new home. Thorin Oakenshield was King Under the Mountain and although he'd never planned to take a wife many eager, haughty Dwarrowdams pursued him anyway. But then there was Ora, a mellow minded Dwarrowdam and a simple baker who seemed to have a knack for causing trouble.

Kíli and Tauriel have fought many battles in order to be with each other, have overcome many obstacles. Now that they are finally allowed a shot at happiness, they realize that maybe their greatest challenges still lie ahead of them. Sequel to my story "Only the Stars Were Watching." Will her father approve in the end or try to separate them?

Kili was little more than a child when he was captured during a Goblin raid, and Fili believes his brother is dead. Yet in the darkness of the Goblin Caverns hope is born, and one who was thought to be lost is returned. No slash.

Fili has a crush. She is smart, she is cunning, she is beautiful, and she gives wicked a whole new meaning. Based after the BOTFA, Fili and Kili are quite content in drowning in all the attention from all the females they get, taking their pick when they fancy. "Easy there, lad. You're alright," Bofur said as he ran over, dropping the needle he had been holding in favor of holding down the thrashing dwarf on the table. Dwalin nodded in acknowledgement to the toymaker and continued with his task, grimacing as each scream tore through his ears. No slash.

Fili and Kili had good lives growing up with their mother, father and uncle in Ered Luin. Just some snippets from their lives as the boys grow from babies to adults. Just life as life is when you are of dwarven royalty - the good, the bad, the joyful and the ugly.

Kili accompanies Thorin on a trip to a nearby town, and the adventure is more than either one bargained for. Thorin has to help deliver a baby, and they find themselves caring for two children.
