I'm just a poor Kansas girl who loves to read. Nothing much to tell about me really. I've been a member on ff.net since...about forever (or at least since around the time that this wonder web page was created); which, needless to say, makes me feel incredibly old. I was thinking the other day: "Wow, I remember when ff.net was still small and new and shiny, when it still hosted original fiction, and allowed for NC-17 rated work." I don't have any fanfiction of my own posted here--mostly because it was bad and I was (still am, really) awful at updating my fics. Which lead to angry readers and flames. I am currently working on a Robin McKinley fic, but due to her request that fans not write fanfiction based on her novels I'm not going to post it anywhere online.

I am also an avid reader-- of anything. I read books, fanfics, manga, comics, etc. My favorite books at the moment are: Sunshine by Robin McKinley, Hannibal by Thomas Harris, Beloved by Toni Morrison, The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, Good Omens by Terry Pratchett/Neil Gaiman, and Macbeth by William Shakespeare.

My favorite fandoms to read fiction in are: Thomas Harris books, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, YuYu Hakusho, Good Omens, Labyrinth, Inuyasha, Bones, Buffy/Harry Potter, and YuYu Hakusho/Inuyasha. One thing I have noticed about my fanfic reading habits is that I prefer non-traditional pairings--for example: Hannibal Lecter/Clarice Starling, Spuffy, Sesshoumaru/Kagome, Willow/Snape or Draco, Kagome/Hiei. Okay, so maybe my tastes aren't so unsual...people do write fanfics with these pairings after all (although I have hit the bottom of the pool for Kagome/Hiei fics. It's my favorite pairing and I've read most of what's out there).
