About Me

My name is Jelly McTosh but feel free to call me Jelly for short if you wish. This name is simply a pen name generated by nicknames given to me by friends; sadly for those who look beyond the name, it is not an anagram nor does it have any hidden messages within it. I am not old enough to depend on a zimmer frame nor am I young enough to need ID to drink alcohol...I suppose that would show I am an adult for those interested in my age. As for the location in which I reside, I am not going to give you my address however, I am sure you can guess from the "Mc" within my pen name that I am of Scottish nationality and fairly proud of this. I live the typical student life; study almost all day, only keeping financially afloat by working part time yet still attempting to party hard. My ultimate goal in life is to teach the younger generations the wonder of the world while exploring the world one city at a time! I do not consider myself an author nor do I wish to be the next "Snowqueens Icedragon", all I wish is to publish fan fictions I create to help improve my literacy skills while entertaining those interested in the stories locked within my mind.

Have you ever read The Lorax by the creative genius that is Dr Suess? The character of the Once-ler remained a mystery for the readers; was he human or some strange creature born from the mind of Suess' imagination? He became whatever the reader wished him to be and that is how I wish to remain; my appearance a complete mystery to all that visit this page as my appearance holds no power over the stories I write. Perhaps one day I will be like the Once-ler and be revealed as a human within an animated movie however, for the time being, my appearance will remain a mystery and become whatever your imagination wishes it to become.

1.What is your favourite knock-knock joke?

2. If you could go to Disney Land with any celebrity alive today, who would it be and why?

I would take Russel Brand with me because he looked adorable on the Merry-Go-Round and Mini Golf clips during his performance of "Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore" in Rock of Ages! I would like to clarify however that this is not a date, it is taking a cute individual to Disney Land to admire.

3. What is the best costume you've ever worn?

I have a huge collection of costumes; not for any sexual or erotic reasons before you jump to conclusions, I simply like dressing up and going out in character. My overall favourite would have to be my Chucky costume as there is so much work which goes into the look; not only do I put on the costume, I also have to draw the scars on my face. Although Chucky is a murderous doll, he is super cute and the combination of costume and make-up is just wild!

4. Name five songs in which you know all the lyrics to.

The songs would be; Music of the Night (POTO), Veronica (Billy Talent), Tainted Love (Marilyn Manson), Shut Me Up (Mindless Self Indulgence) and Hurt (Nine Inch Nails).

5. If you could be any animal for a day, which animal would you be and why?

I've thought about this long and hard but can not think of an exact animal in which I would wish to be however, I do believe I would like to be some form of bird as they are an amazing species. Not only do they date back to the dinosaurs but they can go anywhere in the world; no chains holding them down; the world is their oyster.

6. If you had to eat the same type of food for a month, what would you choose to have?

If I had to live on only one type of food, it would probably be a chicken salad made my way; tasty butter basted chicken breast diced with a mixture of shredded lettuce, finely diced red onion and peppers seasoned with a dash of salt and pepper. Not only is it super tasty, it is also very healthy which is something I always consider.

7. What is your favourite Broadway Musical?

My ultimate musical would be a tie between the Rocky Horror Show and the Phantom of the Opera. I love the intense love story and overall rejection that the Phantom experiences during the tragedy while the wild and wacky world of Rocky Horror is just enjoyable to experience.

8. If you could be with anyone right now, who would it be?

I would be with my family whom I adore more than anything within the world; my beautiful mother and sister who is my best friends and the people who I share my life experiences with. Would be lost without those two amazing people.

9. What do you order from the Chinese Restaurant?

I normally order one of two choices; chicken friend rice or sweet and sour chicken balls with boiled rice.

10. Which do you use most often; dictionary or thesaurus?

Depends what I'm doing to be honest, I use a dictionary when I read so I can understand words I havent come across before or that I'm not too sure of; I use a thesaurus when writing and I feel I'm using the same word too much!!
