The Doctor is alone after the Time War and believes he should be. A group of villagers insist otherwise, claiming that there is one he is destined to be with. Seeking redemption and respite from his deeds during the War, a hopeless Doctor accepts a final task as Time's Champion. With a new companion in the form of young Rose Tyler, the Doctor finds himself uncovering a secret that could save the universe…or destroy it.

Rose Tyler, rescued from the parallel world by the Doctor (although not the one she expected), has been brought back to the Doctor (although not the one she expected), delivered to the Doctor (although not the one she expected) and is now, finally, back with the Doctor (the one she expected all along). This is their tale. Final story in the "Past, Present and Future" series.

My first Doctor wore leather. He did it to protect himself after suffering devastating loss. Then I died after being separated from my Doctor. I needed armor, too.

This new face is struggling to be the man he once was, luckily Clara is on hand and there's an army of old faces to help guide him back to the man we know and love. The Doctor was doing well all by himself, thank you very much! And in popped this pink and yellow human, mucking about the place. Worse, she seems to worm herself into the Doctor's lonely existence rather comfortably...perhaps too comfortably. Character study of Nine and his relationship to Rose Tyler.

I sit here on the balcony of this flat that overlooks the Thames and swallow some of the Scotch I have taken a liking to in the past month. The night begins and over the horizon, the twinkling lights of the city remind me of the stars that I used to roam. I take a deep breath letting the cool air fill my lungs, and shiver, a very human thing.

EPISODE I: A decade after the Battle of Canary Wharf, Rose has built a new life on Parallel Earth. Now an intelligence asset for the new Torchwood Institute, Rose has returned home for her thirtieth birthday when she sees a face she thought long gone. Nine/Rose. AU/AR I'll be writing these like episodes. Which means you'll have to wait for the good stuff. Deal with it. :)

The Doctor has always said that he doesn't do domestics. But when Rose discovers she is pregnant, the Doctor finds himself changing his mind as he and Rose navigate potential parenthood and their feelings for each other. But when an old enemy resurfaces amid the family bliss, will the Doctor be able to protect his new family?

Ten/Rose. Rose rediscovers her artistic talent. The Doctor encourages her to cultivate it.

"She swings in on a chain to save him. He thinks she deserves more than just the bronze." (or the one where the ninth doctor has just about had enough of all the guilt and pain of losing his planet until he meets a fantastic shop girl who saves him in ways she can never even realize.)

When Rose discovers the strange ability to step through Time, Space and Universes, she begins a rather frustrating search for the Doctor. If she can't get his help then she will never be able to stay still. But it seems she can never quite reach him.

Rose develops a slight fascination with his hands. NinexRose.

Rose Tyler throws herself through the Vortex searching for the Doctor and finds him! Well, one version of him anyway. He's rude, he's flirty and he's very attractive...but he also seems to be wearing a cravat.

"I don't think that Rose, I know for a fact its so." I grab her elbow and start to pull her back towards the archway where the TARDIS is parked, when she gives me a slap across the face that could have very well triggered another regeneration. I stand there unsure of what to do. Which of course is a first for me. This girl is something else entirely.

**Spoilers for The Day of the Doctor** The tale of the Bad Wolf, as seen through the eyes of the TARDIS, who we all know has a bit of trouble telling the difference between past and future.

That moment down in that dungeon in Cardiff wasn't the only time the Doctor told Rose - in fact, he told her many times. And this is one of them. - A little shot to celebrate today and the ninth Doctor & Rose. Enjoy.

An old man sits alone at the end of the day, weighed down by all he has seen. What makes him get up again?

At the end of existence, everything went cold. Energy ran out, and everything died. But one man woke up again.

In the heart of the night Rose is at the Doctor's side. To stay with him when their past becomes his future. - A short drabble inspired by the 2nd trailer for the anniversary.

Competition, the Doctor knows, is bad. Especially with Mickey Smith who, really, is so far below his intellectual level the TARDIS sometimes has trouble translating him. And yet at the same time, competition with Mickey Smith is totally unavoidable. School Reunion missing moment.

The TARDIS knows. She can see it in the depths of time and space itself and just for once she won't allow him to run.

A chameleon-arched, war-rended Ninth Doctor is deposited by his TARDIS with some old friends for help. Along the way, he'll have to learn again how to hope, how to love and, hardest of all, how to heal.

A determined and slightly immortal Rose Tyler battles back to her Doctor, but coming home is harder than she thought. A reunion fic set post-Doomsday and assuming the Rose Tyler parts of S4 don't exist.

Rose used to think there wasn't a word that sounded quite right to describe him. She likes calling him Doctor, likes the way it sounds and feels, likes what it says about him. It fits him better than a name, this title that he's made his own.
