Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Black Jewels Trilogy.
I'm a student at Loyola University in Chicago. I'm a political science major with minors in history and secondary education. I eventually hope to go to law school, but haven't decided where to go. My hobbies include pissing people off in chat rooms and creative writing.

Good literature:

Antiquity and the Middle Ages: I don't like a lot of works that come prior to the invention of the novel, but I do like The Illiad/Odyssey by Homer, some Platonic dialogues, and of course, Dante's Inferno.

Between the Middle Ages and the Novel: Again, the highlights of this period are The Prince by Machiavelli and Romeo and Juliet/ Hamlet by Shakespere. It upsets me that it has suddenly become "trendy" to like these Shakesperian works, but I'm not going to deny that they are absolutely brilliant just because everyone else likes them.

And of course, Novels: Crime and Punishment by Feodor Dostoevsky (perhaps my favorite work of all time), Wuthering Heights by E. Bronte (I don't usually like romances, but this one is mingled with revenge which makes it awesome!), the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, and the Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien(of course!).

Short stories: I worship anything written by Edgar Allen Poe or Kate Chopin( who, in my mind, is one of the first amoralists).

Literature that is overrated and is, in actuality, boring and shitty: On Obligations by Cicero, De Anima by Aristotle, Confessions by St. Augustine, Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller(Crucible is much better), As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner, and Emma by Jane Austen.

Policy: If, in a review of my stories, a request for me to read and review your fic, I will do so. However, this does not mean it will necessarily be a good review. Here are some tips to consider in debating whether or not you want me to review your stories:

1.)I don't know the first thing about anime. If you have me review a story about anime, all I'll be able to comment on is the actual writing.
2.) If the character is a Mary Sue, I will give massive flames. I will give enough flames to burn ff.net to the ground.
3.)If words are spelled wrong in the summary, I'm not going to be in a good mood to read it. That tells me that I'm dealing with some prepubescent punk who can't even take the time to use spell check.
4.) If you're under the age of 15, don't have me read your stuff. You know nothing.
5.) If the plot is overall recycled and crappy, there's trouble ahead.

That's about it. Make sure to check out stories by Sparkles Chan, she's a fabulous writer. The above sentiments might sound kind of harsh, and it's true that there are a lot of decent writers on ff.net. I myself do not claim to be perfect, or even decent, but I do try to follow my own guidelines in my writing so my stuff might be worth taking a peek at, if you agree with him. Well, adieu, au revoir!
