AU. After the events of Countrycide, Ianto was retconned and allowed to start a new life in London. Intervening accidentally in a burning building, it's a very different man Jack meets four years later. But can Ianto really escape his own destiny? Spoilers for seasons 1 and 2. "Exit wounds" and "Children of Earth" are only mentioned as incidents and "Miracle Day", never happened.

Ianto keeps a diary, detailing his life and work at Torchwood. When Jack returns from his time with the Doctor, it is the best way to clear the air between them. Sequel of sorts to 'Quite a List', rated T for language.

Jack might have been expecting something else entirely, but he gladly accepted what was offered by the surprising proposal: friendship. Neither of them anticipated just how close that friendship would become before it changed completely.

When Ianto Jones stepped into the Rift in the House of the Dead, he intended to close it forever. He did not expect to tumble through and find himself trapped in his own past. He had to return to his own time, but what did the future hold for a man who was already dead? Yet another death, or perhaps a second chance at life?

This follows on from the events of 'Bad Seed' - but that does not need to be read first. This is a team fic featuring action, romance, treachery, violence, threats, innuendo and fish. As always there is hurt!Ianto and comforted!Ianto ... along with oblivious!Jack and vengeful!Jack It starts with a bang and a cliffhanger. There will now be 32 chapters in total - the end is nigh.

A tiny seed falls through the Rift, but it grows into a dangerous problem. Things aren't helped by the fact that some members of the Cardiff Police Force have developed a hatred and distrust of Torchwood. Follows on from Fragmented, but you don't need to have read that. Teamfic with plenty of Janto. Rating changed from M to T - some violence, homophobia, swearing and adult scenes.
