Poll: Omake Discharge, a collection fic, is getting into its stride. What sort of chapter do you want next? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 16 stories for D N Angel, Hollyoaks, Death Note, House, M.D., Twilight, Legal Drug, House of Night, and Elsewhere. I'm a Procrastinator at heart, and if I'm taking a long time to update, this will be the reason: I am currently: Working on NoHoper 2nd edition. Expect it LATER. Links to come later. (12/12/16): Of the 22 chapters projected for the NoHoper 2nd edition (1st draft), 12 have been written entirely. The count came up to nearly 74,000 words. My recent surgery (which has left me temporarily one-handed) has not impeded my progress; three chapters have been written since surgery. I have not forgotten; I will not forget. ENJOY!!! Bio Name: Ruin Dun Burnit (formerly Ruin Takada) Age: (01/06/16): I'm 22. Birthday: April 12th Fanfiction Anniversary: December 22nd. Residence: The one with first-class Wi-Fi. (I wish...) Gender: Male, kinda queer. ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the faith I long ago lost in FFN, as well as in my writing ability circa 2013, I won't be updating fics here. Instead, I will be publishing them on my new Wordpress, as Ruin Dun Burnit. These will include chapters already found here as well as chapters not seen here. The fics on Wordpress will be considered the official edition. Keep up with my progress and (eventually) read these chapters at Burnit Write. If you have the time to update the TV Tropes pages on any of these to reflect the official editions, that would be cool. I still answer to messages sent to me here, but if you want to be certain of a reply, the best place to do so is at my tumblr RuinDunBurnit. You will also find I post my Wordpress updates there as well. Say anything, ask anything, I'm generally up for a chat. Thank you for putting up with my shit. Other Pending Fanfictions (Either Just Conceived Or Gestating) (In Any Order) (Note: When fics disappear off this list, it's either because it's gonna be published, has been published, or because I suddenly think the idea is lame). The number in bold-italics after each summary is a general guestimation of the order it will be published in after The Art of Subconscious Illusion: Rewritten and NoHoper. These are subject to change. Ones not included in this order are as good as your guesses, when compared to mine. Yagami Girls - (Death Note) The day Light became a girl was not the weirdest day of his life, nor the worst. As long as it doesn't disrupt his - well, her - five-year, ten-year and eternity plan for Social Cleansing and Godhood, she couldn't care less. However, with L getting to have his wicked way nearly every night affecting his detective work, her mother and sister insisting on being an even bigger part of her life, her father's health at risk, and Watari subtley planing World Domination as we speak, she can't help but think that that particular day is making it into the Top-Five. A genderswitch continuation of Adaptation by Silver Pard (do read that first), and a series of omakes to appear as a permanent feature in Omake Discharge, starting between chapter 2 to 5. Mostly humour, of course, to be rated a strong T. 1st White Apples - (Death Note) Light Yagami is the rebelious teen genius descending into boredom, unfulfilled by life. That all changes when a confrontation with Death brings with it a critical choice: Face death... or become a vampyr? Something of a Jukebox musical, with blood, fangs, and heavy metal. No pairings decided yet/revealed yet. NOT CROSSED OVER WITH TWILIGHT. One half of the idea given by a Miss Anonymous Writer, as part of the Plot Bunny Exchange. Much planned, and original lyrics (as well as covers). NOTE: Will not appear here until completely written and public-ready. Expect later than you thought. 2nd White Apples is still technically being written... as an original... with a wholly original cast of characters... to one day be published in three horrifying parts... under a wholly new title. Still a jukebox musical of sorts, with blood, madness and heavy metal. Expect it to be super queer in the best way. Nunc et in Hora Mortis Nostrae (working title) - (Death NotexElsewhere) 'Now, and in our hour of Death'. Planned sequel to 'Ave Maria', to appear at its end. Summary to come much later. 3rd Coffee's For Closers - (Death Note) (one-shot) Before Kira came, Light lost his belief in humanity. Before Kira came, he was failed again and again. He would never believe again... that is, until Kira came. Based on the song [Coffee's for Closers] by Fall Out Boy, an origins one shot. 4th That Jekyll and Hyde Thing (working title) - (Death Note) Matsuda has always been a dolt, but when people mysteriously disappear and he is left to head the case himself, no one will believe or trust in his abilities. Meanwhile, when Light is attacked and turns up bloody at Aizawa's house, Aizawa can't help but assume the worst, taking him into his own care. Hinted one-sided MatsudaxLight, with some Yaoi, written because Aizawa and Matsuda really don't get enough screen-time on this site. Rated M for Mature, tragic themes. Much planned. 5th Knives and Pens - (Death Note) Both a prequel and sequel of sorts to The Art of Subconscious Illusion: Rewritten. 6th Chicago Is So Two Years Ago - (Death Note) (one-shot) A sequel fic to 'Fame Less Than Infamy'. Kira is gone and has been for nigh on two years now, yet the world is barely recovering - not from the terror of his reign, but the chaos that blossomed from its end. The third in the 'The Worst Kind Of Weapon' Trilogy. This Ain't a Scene - (Death Note) A multi-chapter prequel fic to 'Fame Less Than Infamy', in which we learn the truth to the gun-metal scene in which Kira was caught amidst the gang war. Expect after the end of Fame Less Than Infamy. The second in the 'The Worst Kind Of Weapon' Trilogy. Much planned. Death Note US Live Action - Cast Rumours and Support Fuck you, Nat Wolff. Long live Masataka Kubota. | |||||||
