I have a lot of respect for the characters and the world created by Stephenie Meyer, but I often feel as if she wasted a lot of opportunities to tell a lot of much more interesting stories than she actually did tell. I have a lot of unpopular opinions about a few points in the Twilight novels, to be perfectly honest. Nevertheless, I do love the characters and the world that Twilight is set in, and I really love all the possibilities.

Vanquished

As many of you may have already figured out, this story is on hiatus until further notice. Probably permanently. My head is just not in the same place it was in when I started writing this story. There are things about the story I still love, particularly the humor. The biggest problem was that I fell in love with my version of Aro, and when the time came to send him on his merry way, I absolutely could not bring myself to do it. Then as more time wore on, I started to find fault with some of the larger points in the story, and I no longer felt that I could finish it. If I ever DO feel that I can do justice to the story, I would want to rewrite the entire thing from the ground up. If anyone is absolutely dying to know how the story was meant to end, please feel free to send me a PM.
