Dear peoples,

Hi, I'm Juliet (cue lame jokes about Shakespeare's lovely story about a girl with a similar name) and I'm a writer. There isn't much else I really have to say about myself-sadly, I'm not what most people would consider interesting. I'm just an average girl with big dreams, high hopes, and a bubbly personality. I didn't grow up in a slum, and I wasn't left on the doorstep of a random house to be found by some evil relatives {I have not read Harry Potter, but this will change soon...promise}. I love using parentheses (as you have probably noticed), daydreaming, reading, and obsessing over the dramatic lives of fictional characters. My imagination is what you would call very expansive. It would seriously probably be larger than the earth. Okay, maybe not, but close. The point is, I love visualizing and creating new ideas, which I like to express through my writing.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is amazing. The Heroes of Olympus is beautiful. Divergent is wonderful. The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices are enchanting. The Hunger Games is powerful. To Kill a Mockingbird is heart-wrenching. (Other books/series that are not coming to mind as of now are not forgotten, simply lost. But I feel that every book I have ever read has influenced or inspired me in some way, even if it was downright horrible.)

I have read oodles of books in my short lifetime, and I would gladly accept book recommendations, story ideas, or even just discussing/ranting about a book with any one of you. It uplifts me when I think about the fact that someone, somewhere, is taking the time to read this or my other writing. But in all honesty, the only reason I write is out of selfishness. If I don't write, I feel like a balloon just waiting to pop dramatically and scare the crap out of some three-year old holding a popsicle only two feet away.

But if you think I'm all about writing, you're wrong. I'm definitely not. And if you think for one second that I don't care about you and your thoughts, go jump off a cliff (with an inflated mattress waiting at the bottom). I will listen to you, your problems, your issues, or just your little outbursts of 'OMG, WHY IS PERCY SO HAWT?!' even if you don't know how to spell 'hot' correctly. Because no matter how cheesy it sounds, I'm here for you. If there's some stupid squirrel that keeps throwing acorns at your window at 1am in the morning and you are just so depressed, talk to me. Because I care. And I will try my best, to make you-as both a reader and a friend-feel even the slightest bit better. End of soul-touching, hearty rant.

Finally, thanks for being there for me. Even if you don't review, even if you don't favorite, even if you don't follow, I'm still going to write. You simply existing is enough for me. So thanks, friends.
