My name is Magen, and I take a long time to write things so don't expect things to quickly from me. I am 18 and live in the U.S.

I'm not very fond of Harry Potter, but I don't mind reading a few fanfics. If they're good of course. I like The Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix, all books by Tamora Pierce, all books by Gregory Maguire, and a few by Anne Rice and Stephen King. I like what has been written so far in the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini as well.

I like music, so if you have a similar music interest I'd be glad to chat. Queen is my favorite band from overseas, and Styx is my favorite American band. Foreigner, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Ozzy Osbourne, Dio(Black Sabbath from both the Ozzy and Dio era's), and a few others that I may add later.

I firmly believe that the Tamora Pierce books should be made into movies. Two books per movie, until you get to Trickster's choice and such, which have much more content and detail and could create a full movie each. Hopefully the movies wouldn't be awful, like the Eragon movie was.

Out of the Tortall books by Tamora Pierce, I like The Immortals the best. I doubt I'll do any fanfics with those characters playing major parts, though. The only character that I really want to write about is Keladry, she seems like the most unfinished. I think a follow-up book for her would be great, but beggars can't be choosers. I'll settle for more of the Beka Cooper books. Now, for any Pierce fans who see this and are interested in my story about Kel(it's a work-in-progress), i plan to put Kel in a relationship eventually. The story isn't going to be told from Kel's side, but from the side of a girl who is entering her first year as a Page. There will be a few other girls already in training, and one other in this girl's year.
