Author has written 4 stories for Newsies, and Chronicles of Narnia. Hello there--thanks by the way for taking the time to read this. Usually I just skip down to where the stories are. Just a few things about me: --I love children's literature: Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, The Secret Garden. It's just wonderful and I must admit, it's my very favorite thing to read--I find that it is one of the few things that is always wonderful no matter how many times I revisit it. --I also am quite taken with the idea of magic in writing: I adore The Chronicles of Narnia, and Harry Potter is one of my very favorite book series. There's just something so lovely about the idea of magic and I sincerely hope I'll never grow out of reading about it. Also may I just say hello to all of my fellow readers and writers--it is so nice we all have this place to help each other out and I thank all of you who put so much effort into your stories as well as your feedback. Both can mean the world to the right person, and I hope you realize just how valuable your words can be. And one more thing: --If there's one thing I hate, it's that person who--upon hearing that others do not share his or her opinion about a particular book, movie, or show--proceeds to freak out at those people, insisting that they are wrong. It's intolerable and honestly the fact that we all have different tastes is part of what makes our world so wonderful, so please if you ever get this urge (and if you really do love something, I understand that it is hard to hear someone else put it down) please bite your tounge. I can promise you that your insults are falling upon deaf ears and you would do better to just contain yourself. Anyway, until I find a wood in my wardrobe or I begin my travels with my favorite madman and his blue box, I will be here writing and reading and hoping that all of you are having a marvelous time doing just the same. And here is a nice little quote for you, because I think it is well worth reading: “What you see and what you hear depends a great deal on where you are standing. It also depends on what sort of person you are.” C.S. LewisThe Magician's Nephew |
