Hello everyone! My name is Kate, 22 years old and I love writing since I was able to write.

I am German and I know it what means that I know that my English is not the best. I study English as my minor and to improve my skills I would like to use my oldest hobby - writing. In my bookshelf at home I've got a collection of Brother Grimm's fairy tale books from all the countries I have visited in their mother tongue. It is a stressful souvenir because it is not so easy to find such a book in a little bookshop in Athens for example. But I always found one.

Normally, I am writing in German. I need my novels to survive. Now during my time at university, I need English to survive. Why not combining both?

I call myself FairyKate because of my idea of rewriting fairy tales. Not as another version of Snow-White or Cinderella. As an bizarre interpretation regarding our today's world. It is just a tryout of my writer's brain. :)
