My former name is aangfan, and now it is chakragoddess. I decided to change it so I could be consistent across sites (both deviantArt and here, my two "big" sites).

I am a huge fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It was my first foray into fanfiction - I simply didn't want the story to end! So I wrote how I thought it should continue :) I am currently into Korra as well, but haven't written any fanfics for her yet.

ATLA was my entrance into manga and anime (even though the creators are American). I wanted more stories and do think the best ones are in Japanese manga and anime. After ATLA, I was into Dragonball (both Z and the original).

Then came Bleach and Naruto. I watch and read a ton. Usually I like the ones with a hint of romance or a get-together in it, though the big smash-em-ups are good as well.

About my writing:

I'm not a huge fan of OC's. I like to write about the canon characters. I do write OC's to support the main story if I have to.

I have never abandoned a story. I love to read fanfictions and HATE HATE HATE when a story is abandoned. I want to know what happens dammit!

I am also frustrated by stories that aren't updated for months or years. They are still "active", but by the time the writer updates, you pretty much have to read it all over again. I think the longest I have ever gone is maybe 2-3 weeks. I try to update on my current stories at least every 7-9 days if not sooner.

So what am I about as a person? Here are some details:

Have visited: Ireland, England, Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Switzerland, Monaco, and France. The funny thing is, I don't really ENJOY travel around the world that much. I find it very stressful (I would probably be ok if I was actually there with someone who was from the country). But there is so much right here in the USA that I haven't seen yet.

Other Activities: Volleyball! I'm a coach actually and between the months of November to June, I spend quite a bit of time on the courts with the girls. I also own a saddlebred horse (my daughter is a rider). I could definitely stand to lose some weight and it is the one thing I have a HUGE problem with. I also love Facebook...its amazing how many people you can reconnect with!

I wish: I could run! Seriously, I hate running/jogging and wish I liked it. I've always been envious of those folks with runners' bodies. I also wish I could draw. I keep trying...alas, usually when I post something, I consider it more luck than anything else.

Pets: 3 cats. I am highly allergic to "regular" shorthair cats, so mine are Devon Rex. I love them!

I highly dislike: phones (and phone tag)...just e-mail me or IM me and I'll be fine, bad drivers (get a clue, people!), super-hot and humid weather, running :), feeling depressed, and people who don't do what they say they are going to do. Possibly the #1 thing I hate (also related to that last one) is entitlement. It's bringing my country down. Work hard, be good, and accept that life isn't always fair!

Occupation: Engineer (chemical to be exact). I am a geek.

Other: I have 7 tattoos on my body. Most have a significant meaning to me and the time of my life I got it. Two more are planned, though one is just to make one of my old ones more spectacular! So I will have 8 when I am done!
