I am an unapologetic and unequivocal romantic at heart especially with the Sess/older Rin pairing. I particularly love this Sesshomaru creature. His complex character became multilayered and multifaceted when linked with his antithesis, Rin, and I want to explore this relationship beyond what the series depicted. My writing will most likely reflect his perspective.

I am old enough to be wise and young enough to be appreciative of my life and every blessing.

There are so many truly fantastic fanfics with this pairing that have inspired me to dabble and see what my creativity side looks like in written form. My husband, whom I adore, thinks I am slightly lunatic (LOL) but he understands the “writer” residing inside this otherwise logical/practical, math-oriented body.

I do like S/R fics that have substance to them and my favorite list of ADORED authors and stories are indicative of that penchant. You should read some of them. They are OUT OF THIS WORLD. You won't be disappointed, I promise! Most of them did such a thorough and wonderful job of really probing the characterization of this couple. I love the intensity, the detail, and the lovely use of words of these fics. Sigh...if only I could have half their talent.

That's not to say that I don't enjoy the whimsical, lighter side of S/R as well. Some of you are SO wickedly funny (hhhummhmm ...like DiLLiRgA's TWTCHF and Odi et Amo's Wet Dog Smell & Her Smell), that had me rolling on the floor.

It is actually cathartic for me to be able to write and express my thoughts….hopefully eloquently and clearly enough….But really, my goal in writing is to please my muse and if you happen to like it, then that’s icing on the cake !
