![]() 'Ello, everyone! I'm Rixie and I'm working on a big project that I am so going to finish!!! If I ever announce a different project or a hiatus for any reason less serious that final exams, a kidnapping, or the death of a friend, please just reach out and slap me over the internet and tell me to abandon whatever little pipe dream I'm currently chasing and get back on it. This because, as you may have noticed, I've had an account for ages and haven't written a thing. This is because I am easily distracted by new ideas. But not this time!!! Anyways. I believe an introduction is in order. Hello, all, I'm Rixie, and I dabble in writing fan fiction. The first fan fic idea I ever had was a totally indulgent Mary Sue self-insert into the world of Artemis Fowl. I am happy to say that I have grown since then. I then proceeded to get ideas about Warrior Cats, Harry Potter, Rise of the Guardians, Sherlock, and a myriad of other fandoms. But, I am determined that with this Homestuck fic I will finally actually post something to the web. But not without obsessively planning out every single plot point, detail, story mechanic and character backstory possible. This is just the way I am. This is probably part of the reason why I have never posted anything. And thank God because every time I look back on my old work I die a little. Speaking about my old work, I thought that I'd post some of my ideas here, so that other people can use them since I'm not able to. This is where the profile proper ends, too, by the way, so you're welcome to leave now, if you're not interested in finding some random story ideas. So here we go: Artemis Fowl: Opal Koboi genetically engineered a human/pixie/sprite girl who was to serve as her daughter and the heir to her empire. This girl has much more moral structure than her creator and stops Opal from administering a lemur brain fluid elixir to herself in the only way possible at the moment: by injecting the serum into herself. She then becomes super powerful and escapes to the overworld. I should mention that she has wings and can fly, hence the sprite DNA. Above ground, she meets, helps, and falls in love with Artemis etc. etc. etc. sue sue sue . . . Then she goes to Victorian London in an accident involving a time shenanigan and takes on the name Grey, because someone asked and that's the first thing she thought of. She becomes Tessa Grey the Shadowhunter's mother, etc. then she goes to the continent on which Eragon takes place, founds the Grey People, establishes the language of magic, and stuff like that. As you can tell, this was my "totally indulgent Mary Sue self-insert fic". Rise of the Guardians: Before Jack Frost was Jack Frost, he was in love with a girl. They were just starting to really enjoy each other's company when Jack falls into the lack. On exiting the lake, he goes to the village, where no one can see him . . . save one girl. (The ancestor of the Savvy family.) They see each other often, and as she's not well liked and Jack is invisible to everyone else, they begin to fall in love. They go for walks together, in the moonlight, but one day (night) something goes wrong. Something attacks them, or Jack gets upset, and the temperature drops. Jack is fine, and preoccupied, and the girl dramatically freezes to death. Horrified at what he did, Jack flees the scene. This is when we discover that the girl was Jack's former girlfriend's sister, meaning that he devastated the same family twice in a very short amount of time. As an epilogue, Jack is now allowing himself to fall in love with another girl, hundreds of years in the future. He takes all the precautions, making sure that she always has her cell phone, that they always stay inside the city, even giving her a snow globe which would lead her to his lake if she smashed it, for emergencies. On night she is walking out alone, when someone starts chasing her with malicious intent. He corners her down an alleyway, and she smashes the snowglobe and jumps into it, landing on Jack's lake, breaking the surface of the ice, and plunging into the cold dark water. Not even Jack knows where she disappeared to. The end. Sherlock: The cab driver that John kills in "A Study in Pink" wasn't taking the money for his children. He was doing it for his child. His daughter has a severe mental condition that needs treatment, but that their family can't afford. Once she learns of her father's death and receives the money that he gave his life for, she resolves to hunt down her father's killer. Equally intelligent as her father, she uses the money to track Sherlock down, but right in front of her door step, she is crashed into by a car in front of Doctor John Watson. John wants to call an ambulance but Sherlock tells him not to, as the girl's condition seems suspicious. In order to prevent her from achieving whatever she had been hoping to achieve, they take her inside and treat her there. Upon waking up, she has lost a great portion of her memory, due to her mental condition and a concussion. John and Sherlock keep her in the flat, while Sherlock investigates her to try to see what she's up to. Eventually regaining her memory, she attempts to murder Sherlock. She learns that it was actually John that pulled the trigger. So she switches the object of her aggression to John. Here she learns that her father had been shot because he had been murdering people. Some high-tension, dramatic thing happens, and then she takes to the streets, with no family to go back to, no intellect to rely on, and no way to make a living. Then end. If I ever wrote this, it would be in classic tragedy format, although if anyone actually uses this, they can do whatever they want with it. And hey, if you use one of these ideas, a shout out and a PM telling me which story it is would be great! |
