i'm obviously a chick, and i can't get over slash!! especially harry/draco slash... even though harry doesn't deserve him.. sniff oh well. uh, i totally abandon most of my fics, sorry, because i'm a reader, not a great writer, but i have three harry potters, a wicked, a roswell, and a northern exposure fic... i know i'm all over the spectrum, but i devote to reading harry potter only... unless i get bored in which case i sneak on over to the Labyrinth section... or smallville...

STATUS: I'm horrible at finishing fics, so if you were a huge sex stories fan, I'm sorry to say it has been dramatic piano music abandoned. As well as my NX fic. :( however, an idea struck me the other day for a veela fic. but i'm trying to break out the norm, so don't expect the same-old, same-old. it's quite good, but i don't have a title. i'm not putting ANYTHING up until i run it by someone, but wait for it. :D

I have a title!! and it's up!! i was tired of waiting for my friend to finish reading it, so i put it up one night when this sliver of the world was asleep. so far i have a few readers, and it has me excited, so i'll be trying my darndest to put up new chapters as soon as i finish them. :D

4. What inspires you to read and/or write fanfic (music, TV shows, movies, celebs, fellow writers, etc.)?

Music, movies, and other writers. I get A LOT of ideas from lines in songs or movies.

5. Has fanfic enhanced your reading and/or writing abilities? Please explain why or why not.

yes. you have to be a good writer if you want the good readers to read your stuff and recommend it.
plus i've learned a lot about ahem stuff from my favorite writers.

6. Which websites do you go to when you want to read or post fanfic?

i go here, to fanfic.net because it's my first one and plus it's really cool.

7. Do you feel that fanfic takes away the “intellectual or creative rights” of the author/screenwriter who created it since stories are written by fans?

not really. it's basically like people saying their opinion about the movie/story/t.v. show etc;. you really can't stop people from saying their opinion about things.

8. Do you think that authors/screenwriters should have more of an open mind in regards to fanfic?

no!! if they started going along with stories other people wrote, it wouldn't be of their creation.

9. If given the opportunity (and legal rights), do you think fanfic should be published?

sure. just give the author/screenwriter mucho royalties and we're all set. :D

10. Are there any final thoughts you’d like to add about fanfic or this survey?

UPDATE ON MALIGNANT NARCISSISM: I kinda threw everything out of proportion and i'm really sorry. Thank you, Rhiwan, for informing me that my story has gotten a little crazy. I'm trying to keep it a little less crazy and a little more sophisticated. My readers deserve a good story, not an out-of-control scribble. My apologies. However, my new chapter, # 10, is being worked on and i think you'll find it a lot better then my past two. If you have been going along with everything i write, nodding and smiling, i give you a hug. To those giving me constructive criticism, i completely understand, and i really take it to my writing. With that said, look for updates. See ya.

ANOTHER UPDATE!!: I could have just deleted the other one... but oh well. thing is, i'm in another state for the summer and uh i forgot my disk that my story is saved on :O i know. what horrors. so i'll get back to my story in about a month. maybe longer. sorry!! but it's better than a year. watch for updates ;)

And another one: I'm back in my state and i'm trying to work on "it", but things going on in life are influencing my writing, which I really don't want. I want my characters to stay on their own path, not ride on my depressed coat tails. So watch out for my next update, but it might take a while. And I'm sorry it's been forever. Don't hate meeee!! hahaha, peace.

UPDATE: Yeah, I'm a horrible person. I know. Sorry!! But, uhm, I'm working on a Draco/Luna one-shot right now and i don't have Malignant Narcissism with me Dx So... look out for that story! Omg, I don't even have a title yet... :0
