Hi! I’m Winona. Winter isn’t actually my last name; I only use it because I think mine’s a little bit too hard to remember – plus, I was born in winter (December 12th – always proud of that ;p). Reading is my passion, although lately I no longer have the luxury of spending my spare time to read all the books I have queued on my waitlist. But I do love writing. I have tons of new ideas and characters that are dancing on my mind every single day, waiting for my stubborn fingers to type them out. So I guess that was what made me create this account in the first place.

I love urban fiction, fantasy and YA novels. My favorites are Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, Divergent, and (I admit) Twilight. I especially love fantasy and science fiction stories that are peppered with romance (Confession: I am addicted to love triangle and to figure out, after several pages, whose side I found myself on).

Lately, I am working on some fan fiction stories that I think are not polished enough to be posted online, but I am quite satisfied with my latest writing that I decided to post it anyway. I am putting myself on a deadline so that I can post at least one chapter every week. I intend to write some original teen-fantasy stories in the future, although I am not confident enough with my skill to create my very own fiction world at the moment.

My favorite colors are black and white (and pink… ooops). My goal in life is to publish a book someday and to have a dog (can’t you even believe that I don’t have a pet?). I love every activity that does not involve getting my feet to move (you know – reading books, watching movies, eating, sleeping, getting a massage, painting my nails green, concocting new formulas for genetic mutations, planning World War III over the internet, all that stuff). I play an online game called League of Legends and my favorite hero is Katarina (don’t know why I mention this). Finally, I would love to meet a lot of people and interact with all of you.
