I'm new to fanfiction. My best friend has been reading stories on here for years and recently got me hooked on one so I decided to join. I'm just getting the hang of writing about predetermined characters. I've been writing stories since I was 12 but most of them are characters of my own creation. I've always loved reading and I love movies. My problem with movies was that I always got to the end and thought, "that was great but would have been so much better had they done..." so I started writing my own edits. Sometimes, as a writer, that challenges me. I forget to add certain details or actions into my stories because it's playing out in my head and I don't realize I need to describe what I'm seeing because the people reading won't see it the way I do. It's kind of ironic since visual is my actual job. I'm a graphic artist. But I've always wanted to be a novelist, as I'm sure a lot of people on here would like to be. I'm prepping my first book to be sent to agents and thought getting some of my writing out there would be a great way to get reviews on how I can grow my talent.
