The last time I wrote on this site was 4 years ago when I was 14 and figured I had enough writing experience because I wrote five chapters of Adventure Time fanfiction on the Cartoon Network forums. Needless to say, I wasn't that good. I still want to try to become a better writer and I've just been letting plot bunnies fester for the past four years. This time I decided to do a Danganronpa story.

An important fact about this story is that all three games and the anime are real events. After the Tragedy Makoto rebuilt Hope's Peak. The world was mostly recovered from Despair, but there was still that small part of it in the population that wanted to be set free. So, Team Danganronpa appeared and turned the killing games into a fictional series. This was able to soothe and become an outlet for people's despair. Overall, it did the world a lot of good at the time. Danganronpa became the biggest corporation in the world. Then, Team Danganronpa decided to create a real fictional killing game, and you all know the rest (if you played V3).

Rules

1- PMs only. I won't accept reviews

2- Title the PM D54: "Character Name"

3- I will accept repeat talents (if V3 could do it then why can't I, right?) However, same talent doesn't mean same character. Look at Nagito and Makoto for an example. Two very different characters despite both of them being the Ultimate Lucky Student. I also want a different take on the talent itself. Shuichi is the amateur, rookie sleuth who just happened to out do the cops and has trouble reaching out for the truth. Kyoko is the experienced, trained detective who takes her work much more seriously. If you send in a repeat talent, then I want a completely unique character. I will accept a maximum of 2 repeat talents. No Unlucky Students or ?.

4- Not really a rule but advice. I like it more when a character's talent is really integrated with who they are. For example, Sonia's, Himiko's, and Kirumi's appearance, personality, and identity revolve around their talents. Even Nekomaru, although he doesn't look like it, acts like he is the Ultimate Team Manager.

5- Detail. If you don't give me enough detail then one of two things will happen. I will reject your character because there is not enough for me to go off of. If that doesn't happen, then I will fill in any gaps you left behind and you may not like what I come up with. So please, give me detail. I don't need pages. I just need enough to understand the character.

6- By giving me your character I can change anything about them that I see needs to be done for the story. I give my word that I won't do this without a very good reason, but if I do that is within my rights as the author.

7- I know this one is hard, but each character has to be able to be killed or be killed. I don't want to see anyone that looks like they have to survive until the end. You can create characters with better odds of surviving, but there should be no guaranteed survivors. Not a single character in Danganronpa (not even the ones who survived) was incapable of killing someone AND incapable of getting killed.

8- Deadline is June 28. It's a bit far I know. However, I will be going on a trip within the next few days and I won't be returning until the 19th. This gives me plenty of time to review all of the characters and ask any questions I may have about them.

9- I might use one of the submitted characters as the main character. I am undecided at the moment and I will probably remain undecided until I see all the characters. This is just a heads up.

10- The cast would have some knowledge of the killing games. All of the events from the second game and the anime were made as a retelling of a true story by Team Danganronpa. It wasn't until the fourth season that they started to create purely fictional entertainment. It has been 13 years since the reestablishment of Hope's Peak and the start of Team Danganronpa.
