Let's talk books! I am a devoted fan of Harry Potter. I read the first four books when I was 6. Been an admirer of J.K. Rowling ever since, and never regretted reading her stuff. I recently read the Hunger Games series. It is a huge thing where I live so I didn't want to read them at first because I hate being mainstream, but in the end I did read the first book. And it was so good I had to read the rest during the following week. I have to say that after reading the HP, I hadn't read adolescent literature that was as thought-provoking and well-written as the Hunger Games series. Suzanne Collins has definitely created something remarkable. I'm also a huge fan of Greek mythology, so surprisingly enough, I love the Percy Jackson series as well. Less in-depth than the Hunger Games, but entertaining all the same, and incredibly wonderful because of the Grecco-Roman aspects. As common beach literature, Twilights make the list as well. Entertaining to read, but lack in depth and thought. I still liked them enough to start a fic on Twilight, which is up for grabs, by the way, if anyone wants it. I'm far too busy at the moment.

I want to devote a whole paragraph to my ultimate favourite book, 1984 by George Orwell. I am fascinated by political ideologies, and I find the concept of Ingsoc terrifyingly close to reality. Doublethink is being utilized and our thoughts are controlled. I believe everyone should read this particular literary work. It's such an eye-opening story. Down with Big Brother!

I'm a Christian. Born, raised, and confirmed. My whole life evolves around that. However, I have some ideas of my own that don't really match to what the Bible says. For one, I believe that being gay is not a bad thing. To me, love is love, regardless who shows it and to whom they show it to. God loves everyone. Basically what I feel is that the Bible is man-written, and it's obviously for that time period. It's a bit out of date. So all those "women should be quiet in church" kind of things are a bit of meh, if you know what I mean. I'm also a huge feminist. And anti-capitalist.

I love music; singing, playing, listening to it. My playlist is like Rachel Elizabeth Dare's: there are no two songs that sound the same. I listen to basically anything except heavy metal :) My instrument is the guitar. My baby is a black acoustic Ibanez named Sharon. I used to play the clarinet, but that didn't really go well...

I used to watch very little TV due to the huge amount of school work I have (I swear, the IB Diploma Program is a killer! Anyone who does/has done it will understand), but now I've somehow managed to get some room in my schedule for "Pretty Little Liars," "How I Met Your Mother," and "The United States of Tara." Awesomeness. There is also this really old but super funny British TV-show called "Are You Being Served?" which is so cool I had to point it out.
