I'm 40 years old, have been married 21 years, and have a fifteen year old daughter (whom I'm trying to keep this penname and story a secret). My other penname is Kelsismom and besides this one, I've posted nine other fics (Phantom of the Opera, Twilight, Dear Frankie, and CastAway all T-rated) I've learned so much here since I began writing fan fiction back in 2006 and am truly grateful for the friends and feedback I've gained in this community. It's definitely been a learning experience. Also, I've been inactively seeking an agent for my YA manuscript, which one day I would love to find a home for on the shelves of major retailers. :)

Hard to Get was originally inspired by the Under Her Thumb challenge, but since this story doesn't fall under BDSM, I continued with it anyway - When it comes to boys, it's never been hard for Bella to take what she pleases, but on her first day of school in Forks, she meets mysterious, but aloof Edward Cullen. Will he be her biggest challenge yet? --Just for fun. :) Updates are likely to be sporadic! I'll likely post teasers for Teaser Mondays on www.thefictionators.com when I have them.

4/12/11 - My apologies to those who've waited so patiently for an update! I've had to make a tough decision, based on the demands of my personal life and career goals. With the little writing time I have, I've sacrificed my pursuit of publishing my manuscript, which has to become a priority to fanfiction. HARD to Get is officially on hiatus until I can get my head on straight and my priorities back in order. Thanks to all of who have followed thus far. And to those who no longer wish to wait, I understand if you choose to stop reading. Bella and all her naughtiness will be back when the timing is better.

2/4/12 - I'm gearing up to have a new update for this Valentine's Day - it's been a long and a busy year since last I posted. Bella and her bad girl stuff is back and ready for action.
