Takes place after Dead Ever After. I did not care for the end of the entire series. Although I understand Sookie's choice, I think she would regret choosing logic and reason over her heart. This story starts off pretty sad but eventually will move on to kick some asses (I can think of a queen who needs a royal beating.)

One more night, he thought, after he first met her, but at the end of that night, he thought again, one more night. But then, that one night became 12 nights, and then 30. Thinking over and over, one more night. Through her misery and loss she would give him reason to stay just a little longer and bring him closer to his progeny, and Eric closer to the one he wants. Takes place in a world where vampires have not come out of the coffin. Sookie lands a part in a play and is besotted with her leading man. Eric Northman is the perfect Dracula, but there is something about him that Sookie can't put her finger on. When a stranger named Vlad enters the scene and threatens Eric, Sookie is thrust into a world she never knew existed.

What's the most delicious thing you've ever seen? Poor Sookie's about to find out. Eric/Sookie fluff in the vein of the early SVM books: a lot of romance, comedy, action. Think of this as an alternate ending from Book 8 on. (CANON THROUGH BOOK 8; INCORPORATES IDEAS FROM LATER BOOKS, BUT NOT DEA.) COMPLETE!
