Author has written 1 story for Naruto, and Fairy Tail.

Name: GrooveyGuru (I had interesting parents, alright)

Age: 26 (No longer young, not yet old, it's the age of awesome!)

Sex: I'm pretty sure at this point that I'm a dude.

Apparently you're supposed to put things about yourself in these things, so here it goes.

I'm that guy, you know, that guy from that place who did that thing, you know the one, right?

I am the Guru of Groove; the avatar of awesome; the... something else that goes here, when I figure out what it is.

Heh, I'm a guy who is serious only when he needs to be, the rest of the time I'm just a big kid.

I like reading and writing, reading manga/comics and watching anime; I like having beers with friends and generally just having fun.

Crossovers are definitely cool, I can understand why a lot of people don't like them but meh, personal preferences and all that.

Favourite Anime/manga/book: At the moment Naruto, Fairy Tail, Gundam 00, Code Geass, Vinland saga (the single most epic manga I've ever read) too many books to list.

Least Favourite Anime/manga/book: Harry Potter... ugh

Seriously, if you want to know about me just pm me; I'm a friendly guy.

Now onto the bits about the story thingies

This is what you can expect from the stories I write, both now and in the future:

Character evolution: I put the natural evolution of a character above all else, no matter how outrageous a characters actions might be, or however disgustingly overpowered some character might end up, there is always a reason behind it and that reason must always come about from some natural progression. The characters are the backbone of a story, they are how people see the world you are writing about; how these characters change and how those characters react to the world around them as a result of those changes is what makes the story interesting.

I don't like loose ends, so anything I put in a story you can expect to be resolved by the time the story has the word 'complete' stamped on it... unless of course they're there for the next part of the story. Also, I don't put things into stories 'just because' or 'because I can' everything is there for a reason. This may seem both obvious and inane, but I've read a lot of stories where the writer will create hook after hook, creating all these things to keep you reading and then at the end you're suddenly left going 'huh? What's going to happen with this? or What about that person?' it's simply one of those things that really annoy me.

I will never write a harem, unless the world the story is being written in already has one as part of its plot (Rosario vampire being an example of this). Seriously, when was the last woman you spoke to who was willing to be part of a harem... thought not; that and I'm of the opinion that harems are story killers.

I always finish what I'm writing, I wouldn't put anything on a site like this if I thought for a second that I wouldn't be able to finish it.

Second chances

A dimensional refugee arrives at Fairy Tail. This coincides with the resurfacing of an ancient artefact, lost in auction houses and stuffy old drawers for centuries. Why is this refugee so afraid of everything? and what exactly is the true nature of the artefact?

I'm having quite a bit of fun with this story, I hope you like it.

Basically, the idea behind the story is this: The source of Naruto's strength is not the Kyuubi or his massive chakra levels, or anything like that, those are merely tools; quite simply, his desire to protect those he loves and his unshakeable belief in himself is where all of his power comes from; well, what if you were to strip him of that? Take away the source of his strength, that part of him that drives him forwards, without even the slightest hint of hesitation, towards insane acts of recklessness and bravery or stupidity, depending on what your viewpoint is.

What would it take for Naruto to regain those strengths? Would he ever be fully 'himself' again, or would he forever remain impotent? Because at the end of the day, he may have become almost ridiculously powerful in canon, but if he doesn't have the 'strength' to use it, then is he really all that powerful?
